#1 Posted: 10/4/2012 5:50:16 AM I still...after over a year of just observing you americans...dont understand your ULTIMATE goal.....
Is it to bring everyone else down because your unfortunate soul could not do anything itself..?
Is it to flaunt the little 2 day spotlight you all have on a 5 game winning streak...?
Or....is it to make everyone think that you were that ONE genius mind that made the right call to win the ONE big bet of your night of all your losing nights.....
regardless of whatever it is that you are a sore loser....this website could go many more years with your rotting corpse...
I had a very bad losing season this year...and yet, I still have love for all those that made their great profits this year...you all had a keen eye for something that I clearly could not see....and for that....I salute you....
as for all you other haters that cant be honest with yourselves and your loses....
Sorry.

Sorry you had a lousy year handicapping…..I know how that feels…….it feels like you will never get off the bottom of the PILE……..You will escape……… just hang in there…..I’ve suffered through a few of those myself…
You pose a unique question for this forum…
The question is “What is the ULTIMATE Goal”?
I believe for every individual there are that many Ultimate Goals…So the real question is………………
“What is YOUR Ultimate Goal?
Because NO One else’s should really matter….
Whether they spew Hate or they talk of Encouragement…neither one should determine if YOU make to your Ultimate Goal…(whatever it is)… ..My opinion about Hate/Encouragement talkers is that they simply need to do this because this is where they are at on their own road to self-discovery…so again My opinion…..neither one is Good or Bad (the garbage talkers or encouragers)….it just IS…...and we need them both for growth……..
But most of us let Outside interference’s control our emotions….
This is what Ultimately The Sports Book knows about Human Nature………Two feeling they simply like players to possess is FEAR and GREED…….sound familiar…I think the Stock Market is run on the same two FEELINGS……
We are beings that profess to be concerned with growing and self-developing as better Handicappers while simultaneously none of us ever wants to be WRONG. These two aspects come out in different ways for different people…(i.e.….bragging and or putting people down, both which is bred out of Fear and Greed)
So most people if you really pinned them down and asked have… NO Ultimate Goal…(Not ALL people, I said Most)
Truly a Good Goal would be to learn from our WINS and our LOSSES…But IMO our freedom comes to us in direct proportion with what we are willing to endure and learn about ourselves…..
Now enough of my rambling………….I GOT MLB PLAYOFFS TO HANDICAPP………….. |

#10 Posted: 10/5/2012 2:37:38 PM My goal is to make extra cash and have fun, even if I lose a few thousand in a year it is still worth the excitement. I wouldn't say there is an ultimate goal from this in life, maybe for some but not most.

#14 Posted: 10/5/2012 3:07:57 PM 11 words is all it took to show your ignorance. You try to show how intelligent you are and just did the exact opposite. I didn't even read the rest of your dribble. My guess is your generalization insulted a large majority of the posters as most come from different countries on this site.

#16 Posted: 10/6/2012 9:23:06 AM I've only been betting sports for about a year or so. I'm a noob and I ride the coat tails most of the time. I don't like details so it's hard for me to cap.
A big thanks to all you guys that love to cap and have come up with a system that seems to work more than it doesn't. I read your posts with great interest and when it comes time to place a bet not only do I feel pretty good about it but I'm on the + side most of the time and can see that with good bank roll management I might be able to put some cash in my pocket at some point down the road. I started with a $100 and after about a year I have almost $300. My unit is only $5 and will only bet 1-3 units per day.
My Goal- After I came down with Bladder Cancer life took a turn. Had to give up work because the treatments for cancer have a way of making you somewhat undependable.
I'm sticking to the 2.5 to 5% rule for making bets and hope that at some point in the next 2 to 3 years I'll have a bank of about 10k. Might just be wishfull thinking and I have lost my start up bank twice before I got my garbage somewhat together. I'd like to think that after I reach 10K I can keep that as my base and take everything above that once a month. Might be just a pipe dream but that's my goal. |
