I dont think theres ever been that much written about CJ Watson in the previous post!  It makes it sound like he's actually worth mentioning.

SOMETHING NEW!!! AND A SMART MOVE BY THE MAGIC. AJ WONT GET IT DONE BUT SOME FRESH LEGS COULD HELP ALOT AND GSTATE HAS TOO MANY PG OVER THERE THEY HAD TO GET RID OF CRAWFORD ALREADY.

Agreed....CJ Watson seems like he would fit in nicely on the Magic's roster.
 
It sure looks like we are headed for a Dwight Howard era more so than a Lebron James era.
 
The Magic management appears to know what they are doing.
 
If the acquisitions are parleyed with Supeman 2 improving his game on the low block....the Magic will have an era.
 
I still like what the Celtics did for this season ---- kinda like the Michael Jackson last tour   "THIS IS IS"......the Celtics has built a roster that can compete with Magic this year....I do not think the Celtics roster will bother the Magic the year after next.

Where to begin?  Lets start with Alston, who was a rented player.  Jameer is without question the starter and leader of this team. 
 
Vince Carter is better than Turkeygoo is just about every aspect.  I don't know where people come up with Turk is the better defender, shooter, etc.  People are hung up on his post-season performance and not his entire body of work.  Ask any Magic fan about Turkeygoo and most will start off by talking about his inconsistencies.  I really like him as a player, but he is so darn frustrating to watch. 
 
Vince Carter, I don't think is this me first player that everyone is making him out to be.  Look at how he took a back seat to Harris this past season.  His assist totals are comparable to Turkeygoo's.  To me this appears to be a cheaper alternative.   
 
I'm also a fan of Lee, but no is talking about Ryan Anderson.  Orlando's lack of bulk was exposed against LA.  And this kid put up similar rookie stats to Lee.
 
Now I can't predict if this team is going to be better or not this up coming season.  On paper I don't think there is a question about it.  What remains to be seen is if this team can play with the same cohesiveness as last season and how VC will fit in.

Is this team goint to better or not this up coming season?  While every one on here is arguing about if they are better or not with Carter than Turkeygoo, no one is talking about the real issues at hand. 
 
Jameer is coming back.  He was playing at an allstar level last year and instantly makes them better.  At least one would think so.  Before the injury, dude played out of his mind.  Look at his numbers.  He shot just over 50% on all fgs and just over 45% on 3s.  What's even more amazing is that a high volume of his shots are jump shoots from 20ft.  We are not talking about Dwight Howard dunking everything.   
 

Will Jameer return to last seasons form?  How much will Howard improve?  Can he take his game to the next level and be a truely dominant player on both ends of the floor?  This are the real questions that will decide if this team is better or not.  Not who is is better VC or Turkeygoo.

I agree.

I think what really makes Orlando...Orlando is Jameer Nelson the all star "might mouse" quick guard and Dwight Howard "Superman 2" down low stud.

The pre-injury Jameer Nelson all star was the key to the Orlando team that defeated LA -- Kinda like what Brooks gave Houston which also gave LA a little trouble.

If jameer is back healthy and Dwight improves just a little bit more...then Orlando is tough just because of what those two bring to the table.

That being said, I love their 3 acquisitions --- I think they all will fit in nicely.
