DEVILS - Panthers are 7-19 in their last 26 in NJ. Panthers are also 0-4 in their last 4 road games. Look for the Devils to put up a fight now that they are back at home and get the W.
HAWKS - Big win for them in Phoenix and I look for them to keep it rolling back at the United Center. Also Toews first game back in Chicago so the place will be rockin. Look for the Hawks to come out firing and hopefully score early and often.

As most of you know I have been an avid poster on here since the beginning of the season. Really enjoy talking hockey with every one however there are a couple things I would just like to put out there that has been on my mind the last couple days. If you agree with me great and I appreciate every one who comes to my thread daily and brings me insight and comments. If you don't agree with me you can darn off because I don't really care and this is my thread that I can post my views and opinions on. From now on I will only be posting in here. Occasionally you might have to deal with me speaking my mind but for the most part we will still have fun and worry about making money. 
#1 - Torres is the biggest piece of garbage in the league. For anyone who said that hit was clean and the Hawks deserved it I say darn YOU. This isn't the first time he has done it and while Hossa is knocked out he's continuing to play during the game. Is there anything wrong with this picture?!?! For him to go after Hossa a very much respected player in the league is just ridiculous. Now before all you people question me with my homer glasses I would say this about anyone if it happened to a player on their team like this. Speaking of other teams lets move to the Keith hit. Yes it wasn't right BUT for you Canucks fans who are actually happy Hossa got laid out, it just proves to me why so many people hate your fuckin team. It's because you guys are a bunch of fool. People don't hate them because of the team, well they do but it's mainly because of their fans. And if your a respectable Canucks fan I apologize but for the most part you guys are ridiculous. Anyways back to my point. Shanahan better make an example out of Torres. That is all on this topic. 
#2 Suspensions and officiating are becoming terrible. How the hell does this guy get nothing, this guy 1 game, this guy 3 games. Why do you think players are acting stupid? BECAUSE THERE IS NO CONSISTENCY IN THE SUSPENSIONS AND THE LEAGUE IS A friggin JOKE. Weber no suspension? Shaw 3 games? Neal 1 game? I mean come on it's almost like depending on what meds Shanahan took that morning he decides what he might give. We are already at a season high 6 suspensions in the playoffs. 5 suspensions was the highest ever given out and the playoffs just started. I could voice my opinion on this forever but jesus do something to change it. By the way all these officials that are at the Hawks games need to buy some new glasses DEAR GOD THEY ARE TERRIBLE. If these same officials were dicking around the Canucks like they are my Hawks I would actually side with you Canucks if you were complaining as well
Also you gotta love all these people who just bounce from thread to thread talking garbage. I have noticed more and more of that lately and it really makes me laugh. I never see them posting plays just talking garbage constantly. Man you guys really need to get a new hobby. If you're such an expert on hockey post your plays so we can see.

Always gonna be haters. Brush them off. Im one of those that don't post picks but like using covers as a source of research and appreciate your insights. Most of the posters on covers have been very helpful but just like everything in life there are darn ups holding us back. |
