If money is no big deal for you while your there then go for the bottle service and thensome.  How much do you plan on spending for your trip?

I don't know much about bottle service but lose Bali Hai. The only thing it has going for it is location. Otherwise not worth the $$$. I would recommend Rio Secco as an alternate.

talk me out of bali hai, please! location is the ONLY reason we are going there, how bad is it really? or is it ok but overpriced

a few guys don't want to rent a car

In my opinion Bali Hai is a "resort" course. Mounds on the sides of the fairways funnel shots into the middle. I'm no pro but it seemed a little gimmicky to with the mounding. Rio Secco has some particularly nice holes on one nine, good elevation changes and views of The Strip. I think Bali Hai isn't in the same category. I have always had a car but I would guess about $45 cab ride each way to/from The Palazzo. I think Rio Secco might be cheaper than Bali Hai also (could easily cover the cab ride). For me it would be a no brainer. I liked RS better than Paiute.

If you can rent a car for a day, take a look at the Revere Country Club in Henderson...about a 20-25 minute drive....two 18-hole Troon courses....

As to a more laid-back, beautiful club/lounge/restaurant....I would look at Mix at Thehotel at Mandalay Bay....If you're looking for sex in the bathroom, no..this is not the club....If you want quality and to feel as though you are getting something special for your money, this is always a good choice....up to you.

VG has a good suggestion with Revere also. I think Lexington is better than Concord. Revere is about as far as Rio Secco from Strip.

Another problem with Bali Hai you don't always hear mentioned is that it sits right at the end of one of McCarren's main runways so you have airplanes zinging over your head for 4 and a half hours. And I mean wave to the passengers, landing gear hasn't even gone up yet, shake the golf cart over your head. It can get to be a bit overbearing after a while.

The two courses at Revere have definite differences in slope ratings....it does sit in a 55+ community...although beautiful and somewhat challenging with both courses, there is a difference.

you need bottle service if you want to get into some hot clubs.  if not good luck standing in line or tip a pretty hefty sum to the bouncer. after you tip dont forget you still have to pay cover

Yes on bottle service.

If you don't do it... you will stand in line for hours just waiting to get in.  If you get in at all !!!!

Drop the money and enjoy yourself!!!

Golf expert here....   Most courses in Vegas will help you with transportation if you give them a buzz

I will second the Revere courses!!!!

Scratch Bali Hai and go to Bears Best/Revere/or Badlands.

Last summer I did the unlimited golf at the Paiute.  Just know it is very windy at that course.... so be prepared!!!!

Finally... DO NOT PASS UP THE TRIP OUT TO WOLF CREEK!!!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET TO PLAY A COURSE LIKE THAT IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!

I am headed back out there this summer for my third trip 2 Mesquitte!!!!  Great time... amazing course!!!!

I am going that same week. If one of you can be trusted to not drink, go to hotwire and rent a car. They are only about 25 bucks a day. You will save that on the first day in cab fares alone. Take the drive out to Wolf Creek, it is epic.

I think bottle service is a rip off but I look at things cheaply. You will definitely get better service and more attention with it, it may or may not justify the cost.

The Palazzo is the tits, I have stayed many times. In the am, go to the Grand Lux Cafe. There will be a long line for breakfast. Just walk by it and up to the bar and the bartender will hook you up with the buffet and a bloody mary. It'll run you about 25 bucks for breakfast but it is a solid little buffet and quite convenient.

STAY AWAY FROM THE SLOTS AT THE PALAZZO, TIGHTEST ON THE STRIP (7 YEARS AGO BY AN INDEPENDENT STUDY)
