ok D looks better, Offense Ok...

N Dame looks like the 2nd most overrated team in the country behind Michigan, and they could not even beat them...

I like the Sooners, but I need to do more research.   Look forward to the perspectives on this forum...

I am an IRISH fan and I will keep it short butlaying the 4 is a safe play I have cashed in taking points last to weeks...
Getting the obvious out of the way the sooners to a beating @ home last year and it will impact this game alot. N.D. has struggled on defense with teams that have alot of speed i.e. Mich. people dont realize teo did alot of work on defense loosing him was big. Our line is still great but we lack alot in the secondary so expect  big pass plays . I really hope I am wrong its stressful to bet against the team you root for. I believe the line will move alot 4 is a steal ...

Irish played a nationally televised road night game followed by another nationally televised road night game followed by what is supposedly the top defense in the country. Second consecutive home game for the Irish.
West Virginia gave the Sooners problems in Norman and WV sucks. This is Sooners first road game. Sooners do get an extra week but ND has actually played decent opponents.
There are better games but if I had to, I'd wait for the spread to go up and take the Irish ML.

2011 the Sooners lose at home to Texas Tech. The following year they go in to Lubbock and beat the Red Raiders by 21.  I don't think they beat the Irish by 21 but a 7 point win would be sufficient.

Oklahoma - 27                                     Notre Dame - 20

Sooners -3.5

Some trends to consider;

Sooners are 6-1 ats off SU win vs non-conf opponent off SUATS win.

Sooners are 2-7 ats as RF's off BB SU wins.

Irish are 6-1 ats as dogs <7 off SU win.

Last time the Irish were home dogs was 2010 vs Utah. They won the game outright.

Irish are 0-4 ats so far this year.

Sooners first road game of the year and up to now they played a bunch of garbage teams.

Oklahoma -

I thought for sure Michigan St. was the winner last week.  they could not score.  Their defense played well enough to win but they just could not get it done.  I felt I bet my heart after ND won against ST...and I'm afraid if I go for OK....I'm still betting my heart.  Only play this in a teaser to the dog.

Under 49

Notre Dame offense is not strong, with a typical quality Fighting Irish defense. Oklahoma is very young on Offense and they scored 16 points vs West Virginia and the game was in Norman . WVU is horrible this year .

It is a risky bet that the Oklahoma QB playing his second game will be up to the challenge, the Notre Dame defense is really good. But I'm willing to make that bet for three reasons. One the Oklahoma defense will shut down Notre Dame, and two I think this kid is a big upgrade over the guy he is replacing, and last but not least this Notre Dame team reeks of being over rated.

Agree, neither team is that impressive but Oklahoma looks to be good enough to cover this small line.  Have to admit the way they played WVA is a concern but ND hasn't played a quality team yet and struggled with the games they have won.  I will lay the points and trust the Sooners to get some revenge for the egg they laid last year.

WVU holding their own against OK St. right now so to use that game as a barometer for this one is kinda moot.
