try to do the research about the first 5 game start of any player.. and lin is the BEST IN NBA HISTORY! now you can say garbage about who he played against, it's not like everybody in NBA HISTORY played against power teams in their 1st 5 games as starters.
He isn't a superstar, but he has potential.. and darn ESPN! they're not in anyway credible in any opinion they put out. 
I haven't watch that much espn but the lin story is one of the best in pro basketball right now, and you can't blame the media for riding it. and some may have been over riding it.. not lin's fault like smartbet said. 
you talk about a player that sleep in his teammates couch, and now setting an NBA record for his play is an achievement considering how great players are in the nba.
under him is ISAIAH and MAGIC.
i think he's a solid starting pg really, and only time will tell if he can be an allstar.. i think that's the right amount of praise he gets.
that tebow connection is stupid! the only thing they have in common is that they're both religious, which is sad to say.. like is that really the only outspoken God believer in the US? 
undrafted players that really prove the critiques wrong are special, you may not know but ben wallace wasn't drafted. check out his defensive player of the year awards 
stop watching espn, that garbage has nothing to do with what lin is doing, and it's special  |
