It's mental energy, mindset, the part of the game that's played between the ears that's hard to recover from. It's very tough to come from 20 down in the second half and win in overtime and come back two days later and be ready to play on the road against a team you know your better than that just lost a leading scorer. It's something you just have to consider if you're looking for value when handicapping college hoops. If you don't believe it just go with the Jayhawks and see what happens. |
