If ever there was a time to back Carolina, this is probably it. Zona coming off a big win and Carolina still seeking some kind of respect. Panthers at home at the very least deserve a long look.

I was too late playing Carolina at -1. I still think they'll win by 3 but now most lines are exactly -3.

My bet of the week though is OVER  - why you might ask?

Two of the worst defenses in the league when it comes to rushing. What will both teams do on Sunday - run like the wind.

Carolina has an effective running game with Stewart getting 70% of the carries and Goodson doing a little running and receiving as well as the goal line carries. Even with a poor passing offense Carolina will put up at least 21 points rushing.

Arizona comes off a weird win at home where their kicker did most of the damage and Hightower running well. Rookie Skelton didn't have to do a lot and didn't turn the ball over. Against a similarly bad Carolina D# I see Zona scoring at least two TD and a FG.

Final score at least 17-21 in a Carolina win.

Panthers get their 2nd win of the year, in the final home game, in the Battle of Floating Turds. Hopefully they can cover - 2.5

CAROLINA  -2.5

Is this supposed to be a trap game for ARI?

I would back CAR, except I have ZERO faith in them. I am all about backing sub-par teams against a slightly better team coming off a big win and going on the road...but CAR has shown me nothing for me to put money on.

I'll stay away.

ARI +2.5 i'm going with ARIZONA over the worst team in the league. I'm putting my tournament life in the hands of 3rd stringer Skelton.... Red Skelton should be able to beat Clausen and the hapless Panthers, they want Luck don't they?. Score: Arizona 27 - Panthers 13

I have been following your posts as of late and I have agreed with many of them.

But, when I saw this post... it made me stop and think.

The total is hovering around 38 and you said to go OVER with a 21-17 prediction. Hmm... made me stay away. Sorry!

I DOUBT CAROLINA IS GONNA GIVE UP TAKING THE #1 OVERALL PICK IN NEXT YEARS DRAFT. THEY DEFINITELY KNOW NOW THEY NEED A QB AND IF CINCY PLAYED AHEAD OF THEM AND WON, MAYBE THEY WOULD TRY TO WIN, BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE.

ARIZONA PLUS 2.5

An early xmas present for mine...Smiling sideline antics aside, the roadies should not be dogs in this match-up in my opine..Once again, games that mean little is where one will find the value to stay afloat..

I don't think either one of these teams want to be outside in 36 degrees. especially arizona. the season is done for both. Run the clock tick tick tick. Got to go with the under.

Panthers want the #1 draft pick with the worst record why would they win and jeopardize that scenerio?Cause Bengals only have 2 wins if they win then they will be tied with Bengals if Bengals lose.
