This is probably something we can agree on Austin,  cries when he loses but don't acknowledge when he gets lucky.  Boom is way off on the miss st game.  U got to try to score , poll coaches on that one.  In the Clemson game they were trying to cover and there is no other explanation.  Think I lost on both occasions.  In the spurrier situation I'm not at all surprised what he did , cuz the ol ball coach is unconventional in some of his ways.  And yep I lost that one too.
Now as far as boob Being a loudmouth well that's a given.  Always trying to be a tough guy.  Just keep pickin 50% and tellin everyone who will believe you u know more than them

Hey Boom

What's your take on the Clemson game? I also really like the Ducks and LSU again this weekend. Any thoughts?

I think Clemson should cover this... but with that defense always being a problem now.. I think they have to out score everyone they play. With that said, V.T isn't a offensive juggernaut. But, I do suspect them to score

Just a guess.... but I would say Clemson 38 V.T 28

yes, I like the Ducks too... waiting to see if it dips under 10

Your assessment that Clemson running up 9 with 1:30 left and GT has no timeouts is the right call instead of kneeling?  I'll take that bet.  Shoot, let's do a poll on covers and see if everyone else thinks Clemson running in that situation was stupid.  Go ahead, I'll wait..

The s. Car loss was completely on slurries in my opinion, he completely abandoned the run in the 2nd half. I don't give a darn if it's productive or not, agaist lsu's d-line, u cannot let them T off. He's a dumb darn coach IMO. Sorry guys, just had to get that off my chest, feeling better now.

Austin chill out dude. Do yourealize you just called someone out to fight over the Internet? I mean seriously, stop and think about that? And you also, made a crude comment about his wife? I mean talking crap about football and who knows more, and certain opinions about games is one thing but my gosh man. In all seriousness, take a step back and get control of yourself. I'm sure your a decent guy, and we all have moments where we lash out, but I think you owe boom an apology on this bro. Were all on here to talk football and the occasional heated debate, and a little trash talking, but we gotta know the line.

Notre Dame goes to Norman the following week.  Think I'll have to attend that one.

im glad you thought it was crossing the line, that's the point. You see when boom calls me an idiot, talks down to me, tries to belittle me because my opinions doesn't line up with his, to me, that is equally on par with. Crossing the line as me talking garbage to his family.

So again, he is always one sided. H girl about the Tennessee moose, yet fails to accept the reality that he was on the right side of the moose in the Clemson game.  He likes to gloat as the football guru around here when he is very friggin average, and posts a fraudulent record. Lot of respectable cappers here and they all post records including juice. Boom will never address this, he always side steps the issue, I wonder why?...

The reason I post in here is cause I get tired of his little whiny girl antics. I guarantee you he wouldn't talk like that to people in person, otherwise he'd find himself getting curb checked real friggin quick.

Boom, a few points. I have 3 large screens in My living room and there isnt much I miss. I write for two blogs so I bet a bunch of people watch a ton of action

Second I played the game in college and I can assure you about .000000001 % of any games are fixed. It comes down to coaching. I have said that 75% of all games decided by 7 points or less are decided by clock mismanagement.

I totally respect your opinion on everything but saying Bama will loose two games is borderline insanity. If you are thinking Texas a&M please watc th etape from Saturday night again. They dont have a prayer. Bama hasnt got past page 2 of their play book yet. They will run the table and you can hold me to that. Lacy and Yeldon ar ebeast and Mccarron is one of the most under rated qb's in the country. Good Luck this week

Boom,

First, I watched the same Navy/CMichigan game as you, and I was txting my buddy about mid-way through the 3rd on the crap I was watching.  I, like you, don't get into conspiracy garbage, it's just not my style.  But while watching that game, I was flabbergasted.  They pulled the starting SENIOR Qb (who, may I add, drove his team to a score right before half).  And pulling him for reasons that were not his fault.  And you are correct.  They were running inside/outside zone down 18 midway through the third quarter and had ZERO sense of urgency, ever.  It was absolutely amazing to watch.. and I started to think "WTF" is going on here?

To expand on that, I watched most of the UT/Miss St game & yes, you are correct.  That call was not the correct call.  "Most" coaches don't call that play.  The kid made an incredible catch, but at that point, you don't make that play call.  On a side note, what really hurt UT was the fumble earlier.  They had some mojo going and that turnover killed them.

As for the ND/Stanford game.  One word.  "WOW".  I simply CAN NOT believe how you can review that and not see that Taylor clearly, without question, 100%, spun around and reached the ball over the goal line.  It is absolutely absurd that those refs didn't overturn the call on the field.  Garbage.  That is all I can say about it; Garbage.  And as I told you a couple weeks back, where ND is weak is the back four.  Stanford exposed that "a little" but wait til they play OU.  You heard it hear first.  I can't wait to see that that line is; b/c I'm telling you, OU is going to finally expose ND for what they are; a "good" team.  They have gotten a bit fortunate by playing: Mich St (terrible throwing the ball).  Michigan (terrible throwing the ball). Navy (terrible throwing the ball).  Miami (terrible throwing the ball).... And now the get BYU, who maybe worst than all the aforementioned combined.  OU is going to be licking their chops watching film on ND & how porous that Dback field is.  ND will finally play a team that can spread them out, yet have a QB that can deliver the ball to the correct colored jersey's.

Lastly.  I year ya on Ohio State.  You keep saying it in your threads.  And I'm going to keep retorting to you;  Michigan is going to be a bear in a couple years..  They have the best young OL & LB corps since the mid 90s when they were legit.  They are playing A TON of freshman and have a garbage ton of talent waiting in the wings...  Again, OSU is going to be a tough out for sure, but the staff at Michigan have a cpl NC's under their belts too, and I'm telling you; here in about 4 years you are going to see a completely different team that is going to look a lot like Stanford (now & the last couple years).  With all these teams going to the spread, Michigan is going back to ole school.

Good Luck next week brotha.  I didn't use any of your picks this past weekend..  I went 3-2 on mine.

I see where your coming from Austin, and I guess what I'm
Saying is boom calling YOU and idiot and demeaning you is different than you making threatening comments towards his wife. You calling him
An idiot back, attacking him personally wouldn't have sufficed? You felt the need to futher into areas that's really not cool over a public forum, to a guy that you haven't even met in real life. I'm not saying boom is right, by name calling either. It just seems as though that is kind of accepted on here amongst men debating sports with each other. But threatening wives seems a bit much.
This is normally not me to try and be a peacemaker but my brother in law just lost his 10 year old sister in a car accident today, and I can't even imagine the pain he's going through. So my prespective tonight is one of let's just value life and let the small stuff go by the wayside. None of us are gauranteed tomorrow. So I'm looking at these posts from that state of mind, and Im just saying can somebody just drop the pride and take the short end of the stick by gently dis agreeing and maintain the weird friendships we've developed on this website?! Lol Austin if it was some person who never post, just coming in here to cause diffusion I wouldn't even give them the time of day, but you've been in here for a while and a great contributer on covers so I'm throwing my two cents in for all of us. I'm guilty aswell, I've been pissed at people and called names on here before so I'm speaking to myself too.
Please, let's just be corgile and talk football and understand it's all for fun, and realize that there's a lot of REAL problems like what my brother in law, and many of you guys aswell have gone through and or going through right now.
I understand I'm probably gonna get some negative comments or people calling me soft or even demeaning me for this post, which is fine. I'm not gonna fire back cuz then I wouldn't practicing what I preach, I'd be a hypocrite. So.... There's my two cents.
Boom your my boy....
Austin I've seen u around and had nothing bad to say and seem like a chill dude! BOL to All of us, may we all be in the right side of many " moose's" this weekend.

They pulled the senior QB because he was unproductive. These coaches are humans. How do you know the QB wasnt dogging it in practice as well ? Stop with the conspiracy theories these kids are playing for their jobs they arent fixing games jesus unreal. Put a jock strap on and take a beating in practice before you start with these war stories
