#1 Posted: 3/1/2012 2:20:21 PM What's with this rumor about Rondo to the Lakers for Pau Gasol? That would be an awesome trade for LAL if it went through. That is exactly what they are missing............although not for his FT shooting. |

#2 Posted: 3/1/2012 2:34:04 PM Celtics are doing everything they can to dump Rondo because of his attitude. Think about it, if the Celtics want to trade what is considered to be one of the top 5 PGs in the game, that should make any team think twice before accepting any kind of trade involving him.

#5 Posted: 3/1/2012 2:41:39 PM Horrible trade for Lakers. Lakers lose another go to guy. Lakers seem like they are obligated to Fisher.
Lakers definitely need a fast pg but not for Gasol. |

#7 Posted: 3/1/2012 2:44:26 PM Possible three way trade talks involving Golden State's Monta Ellis, Biedrins, and David Lee, Celtics Rondo, and Orlando's Jameer Nelson and Ryan Anderson, Lakers' World Peace and Gasol and other players.
This could be get interesting as to who would want World Peace. |

Tell me about it dude. The guy gets carted off in a wheelchair one moment than comes sprinting off back onto the court. |

Otherwise they'll be rebuilding for awhile to come. Trade off their aging veterans to teams going to the playoff and getting picks, or young talent in return is in their best interest. It'll be one and done in the playoffs (provided they don't slip up) with the way they're going this season. |

#12 Posted: 3/1/2012 3:21:30 PM Personally I think they needs to try to move Allen (expiring contract and still an outstanding shooter) or Pierce (still 2 years left on his contract I believe, but clutch) to say a team like the Pacers, deep and young but need a go to guy in the clutch, possibly try Pierce for Granger? idk, that's my take on it. I don't see the Lakers and Celtics trading with each other. And how the Magic would be able to get Monta Ellis with their horrible trad-able assets is beyond me. Don't see that happening

#13 Posted: 3/1/2012 3:27:17 PM No way would INDY in their right mind trade Granger for Pierce. Just do not see it in a million years. Boston would have to sweeten that deal to the extreme for it to happen. |

You do realize the only thing granger offers compared to pierce is youth. Pierce has almost the same PPG and averages 4 more assists per game than granger. pierce is more experienced and a better player in clutch times. if the celtics wanna make one more run with this core playoffs, there is no way they willl trade pierce for granger. |

That is absolutely true. For that reason alone, it would be a bad trade for both sides. Indy in the long run wouldn't benefit from this scenario of a trade. And Boston would be worse off too in the short run. But I don't see Boston making it out of the first round, provided they do get in. |

#22 Posted: 3/1/2012 5:10:04 PM I see my Granger for Pierce suggestion of a trade stirred up some debate lol, just so you all know, there are no rumors of it, just thought it'd be an interesting hypothetical trade since Granger is 26 and locked up for several years, and the Pacers need a go-to guy in the clutch and veteran leader. The Pacers are a team that is legitimately a super-star away from being a contender in my opinion, they have a great core of role players
