Washington ML. I've been A Capitals fan and lived here since I was born. I know they choke endlessly especially to Pens. All of the money is on Washington. I will chase and go down with my team.

Are the Capitals finally going to get by the Penguins and advance past the second round of the playoffs in the Alex Ovechkin era? With a Game 7 on the docket against a Pittsburgh club that looks like it’s all but given up, it certainly looks that way. Bookmakers are bullish on the cardiac Caps tonight and opened them as the -175 home faves.
The Capitals have outshot the Penguins by an average of 9.67 per game in 5-on-5 play this series.
The Capitals have a 1-7-1 OVER/UNDER record in their 9 Game 7s since the 2005 lockout.
Marc-Andre Fleury has allowed 9 total goals the last 2 games on 58 shots against.
Washington has come all the way back from the brink and can finally exorcise its postseason demons tonight with a Game 7 victory over the pesky Penguins. The distinct advantage they hold over the Pens in this one is their secret weapon – Justin Williams. The second-year Capital is 7-0 in Game 7s over the course of his impressive career, amassing an incredible 14 points in those contests.
Beyond that, the Caps are just the much better team here. They’ve dominated 5-on-5 play all series and are coming off a performance in Game 6 that saw the Pens concede the first five goals. Marc-Andre Fleury was the only thing keeping the Pens in this series but the dam has finally burst and I doubt he provides much resistance tonight.
I’ll personally be backing Ovi and the Caps on the -1.5-goal puckline in this seventh and deciding game as I don’t see the Pens generating enough chances to score more than one or two on Braden Holtby. Given the Caps’ trends in Game 7s and their defensive prowess at the Verizon Center, I may also be looking at the UNDER 5.5.

lol I dont know if a lot of you bet, but usually if there is a ton of money on a team- the opposing team wins.. Why would vegas lose millions of dollars, they have everyone hooked, Pitts played awful the past few games, the ML is huge favoring the capitals, its all a sceem.. Everyone thinks the capitals will win tonight which is exactly why the Penguins will win!! WAY TO MUCH money on Wash.

I'll take the Capitals Money line even after game 4 when they scored a goal for Pittsburgh and lost. I don't enjoy making fun of a team that could write a book on how not to make it threw this round of the NHL playoffs.

Thats not true keefeb23. Vegas adjusts the line until the payout ratio is equal on both side they don't care who wins. They always win because of the juice which in this case it is the difference between the positive and the negative amounts of the bet. The Difference is what Vegas makes with equal amounts of money bet on both sides. It is usually 20 just like in this game.

I am confused by what youre talking about vanguish, the ML on this game has been almost the same since yesterday.. How would they adjust if it hasnt changed much? To me vegas hasnt adjusted anything regarding the payout ratio- it seems to me like a ton of money is being bet on Washington.. Lets face it, theyre down playing the penguins so that everyone bets washington- which is right when the penguins will swoop in and win this game

Next1- you are an idiot!!!!! How can you even talk trash when Washington hasnt even made it past the second round?? Washington is the best choking team left in the playoffs.. I am sure penguins fans can write novel after novel writing books about how its been the "caps" year and theyve choked.. Everyone doesnt want to talk about the past- but the past never lies

Keefeb23 I am only saying if you bet contrary to line movement (money) or with it, overtime you'll end up winning 50% of your bets minus the juice. Obviously people have been trying to figure this out for a long time. I'm afraid you might be right about the capitals choking tonight but I took them anyway.

Line moved from -170 to -200 and back again. Early money capitals late money pens. I took Caps early but things have changed. Obviously history says pens win. Good luck.
