Purdue doesn't have the talent to beat a single team in the Big 10 this year. Iowa is motivated, as they become eligible with the win...and they may not win another game after this one. Purdue has scored about 7 points in the past 10 quarters or so. Iowa has a good defense, so they shouldn't score many in the next 4 quarters.

Hawkeyes - 14 1/2

i hate the term "lock", but this is as close as you can get. putting over half of my account on this one. if iowa doesn't hand out a beat down, may one of my ex-wives take me back to court.....again.

iowas' 4 losses have come to teams with a combined record of 32-3. purdue isn't in that class.

Neither of these teams an offensive power. I definitely look for the Hawkeyes to hold the Boilers to 10 or less. The Hawks should pound the ball and as long as Purdue doesn't lay down and give up long runs this should be a low scoring game. Cold and windy conditions across the Great Lake region today should limit the passing for two teams that don't throw the ball that well anyway.  Under 44.5 GLTA!
