Ouch.. I just looked at that one.. 25 points in 2 mins. That sucks a lot, but in close games I don't bet unders exactly for this reason. But that's still friggin hard to do. Wow.

Read all of these bad beat stories. A team hitting a three at the buzzer to blow your cover is not a bad beat, unless the circumstances justify it. If a team is up 20 points and hits a meaningless three at the buzzer than yes.

Anyhow, nobody has mentioned the biggest moose of the year yet, and that is either Iona ML, or Iona over in the play in game. We all know the story, Iona winning by 25 blows the lead scoring 55 1h, 17 2h. Tell me you've won an under with 95 points scored in the first half? They go on to score 55 in the second half combined, and would have needed overtime to cash that over 163. LOL.

I had Iona 1h over luckily, but I also had Iona ML, which still hurts. Iona's game plan, is simple. Run run run in the first half and tire your opponents out. Well, as it turned out, then ran themselves out of gas, and a defensive coaching move cost them a chance at the dance. What a wild game, and a double moose.

The last three Ohio U games have been absolutely devastating losses for me.  First, last Friday they were -3.5, thier star player DJ Cooper, who happens to be 75% from the line, goes 0-4 on FT's in the last :30 and they win by 3!

Then, the next night vs Akron they are -1.5, They are up by 3 in the closing seconds, so they foul to not let Akron get a 3 pointer attempt.  The kid for Akron makes the first one, and then tries to miss the second one on purpose so they can get try to get a put back, but it clanks high off the back of the rim and goes in!  Then Akron fouls Cooper with 1.0 left, and he misses both free throws, Ohio wins by 1!!  Cooper 0-3 from the line in the last :30 in this game.

Last night, i decide I'm not touching the side in their game and I took the over 126.   it's 63-60 with 4:12 left to play, got it chalked up as a rather easy win...but hold on, both teams combine to go 0-11 from the field the rest of the game, amazingly no fouls are called until there is :07 left in the game, two Ohio ft's finish the scoring, 65-60 final!

Tbone, you are right, that was my big play of the weekend on the Ohio/Mich Over 125.5

I accidentally double entered the play so it hurt 2x as bad as it should have. I have never seen a team garbage the bed the Mich did without even trying to score a 2 with 2 min left, rather darn it all up and go home!

heres a good one for you,,,in my whole life of sports betting, my behind has never been tickled so much before getting f$#ked. last night i had the over 68.5 2nd half cincy/flast game. the whole second half, both teams are moving around like slugs, dancing with the ball for 35 seconds then shooting ill advised shots. after 3 minutes into the half, when not a single point was scored, i knew i was going to lose this over bet. with a low scoring first half and the 2nd half line 68.5, i needed the game to go over 119.5. its 43-43 with 3:36 left in the game. i needed 34 points in in 3.5 minutes, final score 62-56=118. they would have made it had cincy not made a turnover on the inbounds pass after a layup by flast that made it 60-56 with :17 left. surely, fla st would have fouled with :16 left and tried a 3 and miss but with still enough time to foul again since it would only be a 6 pt game still. after stealing the inbounds pass, flast missed a 3, got the offensive board, missed another 3 and finally cincy got the rebound with 3 seconds left and hit both their free throws to make it 62-56,,,where was that kind of scoring the first 36.5 minutes of this game lol, oh well, it wasn't the first bad beat and it wont be my last.

15 pts in last min to lose by one point is really bad

Not sure if anyone said Weber ST.......With that explosive "O" I really thought they would win that game at +4 VS LOMAR....They were trailing the whole game and finally their offense explodes, makes their move, could have won but went to OT.......Turns out they blew their wad and lost by 6 in OT.......Nothings worse than losing in OT win you have the dog

Opening night on the tournament I had a 4 team parlay for $200.
The first 3 games had already won, rather easily I should add.
All I needed to complete my parlay was Kentucky TEAM TOTAL over 81.5, and of course they scored 81 on the nose.

But that's not the worst of it. I was out to dinner with my wife, newborn son and brother in law. I looked at my phone and saw Kentucky had 80 points with 6 minutes to go. So of course I chalked it up as a win. Why wouldn't I? My night was looking great! Here I am eating Rodizio living life like it should be lived, and realizing that this meal was basically free now that I was going to collect $2,000 from my win.

Well I look at my phone 15 minutes later to see they scored 1 lousy friggin point the rest of the way! The number 1 team in the nation and they couldn't put together 2 free throws????
Of course I checked later and saw that they missed like 7 of 8 foul shots the rest of the way.

Needless to say I nearly threw up my steak when I saw the score.

How about last night? I came out on the right side of this one, for once.

Oregon/Washington-5: Oregon shoots an air ball that gets put back in because Washington has no reason to foul. Final 90-86

Wasn't this year but certainly worthy of speak.

Jan. 28, 2008, Seton Hall +13 visits Pitt.  I had the Hall and the points.

For extra comfort, then guard Jamar Nutter pops a 3-pointer with 32 seconds left in the game, cutting Pitt's lead down to 78-70.

Jeremy Hazell fouls DeJuan Blair off the inbound.  Blair hits 1 of 2 FT's, 9 pt game.  Nutter rims a 3 in and out on the other end, Tyrell Biggs pulls down rebound for Pitt.

Foul is then called on Jamar Nutter with 10 seconds remaining in the game and Hall down 9.

Nutter goes to the Hall bench, slams a chair off the ground, sticks kicking and screaming and POP goes the technical.  Hey no big deal though, right?  Pitt hits both free throws I still cover, right?

The officials decided since this was such a harsh offense that Keith Benjamin would get the opportunity to shoot FOUR free throws and get the ball back since Nutter was technically in the act of fouling.

Benjamin hits 3 of 4 free throws with STILL 10 seconds on the clock.  Pitt is now up 82-70 and I am covering by 1 pt.

Will Pitt just dribble the clock out like the classy Jamie Dixon would intend?  No, JD checks in benchwarming senior Maurice Polen.  Polen then pushes a dribble-drive play against four of five Seton Hall starters, pops a fadeaway jumper with 6 seconds left.

I am down by 1 point now, it's 84-70.  Crazy Bobby Gonzalez checks in the more insane Nutter again with 6 seconds left still.  Nutter drives all the way to the goal with 3 seconds left and puts up an uncontested layup as time expired.  The man missed the layup.

Pitt covers by one point.

Many years ago, I had the Providence Friars +3.5 at home against Georgetown. Providence was down by one point with 3 seconds to go and they're about to inbound the ball near center court. I can't lose, right? Wrong! The man inbounding the ball is having trouble finding an open Friar so he calls a timeout but naturally they're out of timeouts. Georgetown makes both technical foul shots, gets fouled after they inbound the ball, their guy makes 1 of 2 with 1 second on the clock, and I lose by half a point.

I haven't bet many Big East games since that horrible beat!

Few years back took UNLV -13 on the last leg of a 4 teamer. UNLV was up 12 and stole the ball with 30 seconds left and bricked the dunk off the back of the rim. TCU rebounds, misses a three and UNLV dribbled the clock out

this is the worst of all, i had a 50 reverse in. to win 200. i hit the other part of the over, it was tcu-texas tech game a few weeks ago. the other part i had was the over of the army/air force game. it was looking bad all game. it was 27 points at half. it was only 42 points with about 8 minutes left in the 4th. but then 2 tds were scored. so it is now 56 total points and the over is 62.5, of course army scores a TD and im cheering at work, i go back and look at my phone and THEY FUCCCKING MISSED THE XP, it wasnt blocked, they didnt go for two, they missed it. the total stayed at 62. and went under by 0.5 points. THANK YOU I'LL TAKE A 60 DOLLAR LOSE INSTEAD OF A 200 DOLLAR WIN

I would have to say that UCLA was shaving points. I can think of no other reason that game went down like it did. Got to 4 points to cover the spread half way through the first and then stopped. I wouldn't call it not closing out a game. I am straight up calling it points shaving, and that's a bad beat

I'm sure a lot of people had Georgetown +9.5 vs Indiana they go in to overtime, at the end there down by 9 everyone starts to walk around I'm counting down sec ins under 10 Jt the 3ed is telling his players don't foul. How are they gonna score 9 points in 7sec well dude walked right up and fouls guy makes one misses one I lose and my boy pushes cause he bought the .5
