TB is clearly the best team in this division, their starting 5 rotation is easily the best in baseball. Moore will be ROY too.

In this offensively driven division I like the Jays pitching prospects as the season develops.

When healthy Dustin McGowan will retire hitters with ground balls and strike outs. McGowan, Morrow, Romero and the emerging young arms in Toronto can match up with what the Rays are doing. No, they don't have anyone in David Price's league, but Moore will be in his first full season, and it's questionable whether James Shields and his change up will repeat last years performance.

Cordero and Santos are proven products at the end of games. Something a few of the other teams currently lack. Yeah, plenty of fun clubs in this division.

O's going to make the Yankees 0-4 as of tomorrow!

They're going to CLOCK Nova early and often.

Matusz will have them stumped through 1st 5 innings.

by the time they get the bat's going it's going to be WAY too late.

Atlanta?

I think this is the strongest this division has maybe ever looked, especially if the Jays take the jump to around a 90 win team.

I said the Jays could jump too "around" a 90 win team. That could mean 87, 88, 89 etc wins.

If the standings finish 1. Yankees 2. Tampa 3. Boston 4. Toronto I think you could easily make the argument that Boston is just as good as any team in the national league this season.

Pineda out for season.

Phil Hughes getting smacked around.

Kuroda welcome to the AL East.

Nova has been up and down. Does he get consistent or do his bad peripherals and minor league track record finally catch up to him at the big league level?

CC has been nothing to write home about but he will turn it around.

Garcia - has been nothing short of awful

So does anyone really want to say the Yankees dont have question marks in their starting pitching? Their bullpen is fine but their offense is not going to be able to carry the team the whole year. Starting pitching is going to really hurt the Yankees.
