#1 Posted: 4/12/2012 6:17:20 PM I can understand fading the Spurs the last few nights because of Ginobili, Parker, and Duncan out for rest... Why Memphis tonight??
Is it a fix to get the public on Mem when everyone knows Spurs will clean house in S.A.??? |

#2 Posted: 4/12/2012 6:30:03 PM Greg Popovich plain and simple doesn't care about the regular season. They are already sitting good in the west. Memphis still is fighting for a good seed and playing good ball lately. Even with all the starters playing he can still decide to sit them at the half. You never know one way or another with him. Playoff time will be different, they will be a hard team to beat but backing papovich in reg. season games at this part of the season is tough. |

Maybe the most asanine post and reasoning I have read all day...Popp doesn't care about regular season??...than why are they only 1 game back of top seed...speaking of top seed, you don't think they want to take that??!!...then your crazy...Memphis IS playing for a good seed, but so is everyone at this junction in season...look and see how the Grizz have fared over the years in San An...you don't think the Spurs simply over looked a Kobe-less Lakers team?...you don't think they are furious over letting the Artest formerly known as Ron go for 26points and Bynum have 30 boards??!! Spurs will roll a tired Grizzly team tonight...GLTA |

#6 Posted: 4/12/2012 6:46:30 PM Spurs here too. Tweet from a SAS writer:
No time for Spurs to lick wounds. Grizzlies in town tonight. Duncan: "I guarantee you'll see a better performance from us."
Another one:
“Very glad there is a game tomorrow. After a game like tonight we just want to get back on the floor.” TIM DUNCAN

#7 Posted: 4/12/2012 6:49:29 PM memphis matches up well with the spurs. and spurs alreay won the first 3 match ups this season. sweeping a series vs. a good team is tough to do. |

#11 Posted: 4/12/2012 7:54:49 PM spurs in a rout. they will rebound off their loss to the show with a big effort tonight. griz have been owned all season long, no reason to think otherwise here. the only wildcard is if the spurs take the foot off the gas, that might cause a backdoor cover.
PS i took the griz as a chase play, so i already see the writing on the wall. |

#12 Posted: 4/12/2012 8:07:28 PM I wouldn't bet the Spurs if the line was a pick em. They're an old, slow team that quits as soon as they know they can't win the game. This team sucks and will get knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. |
