#3 Posted: 4/28/2012 7:43:53 AM Blues are not the Canucks,so this matchup is not going to suit the Kings at all..I still think that the Blues will win the Cup,yet was a tad concerned that they may not have been built for the playoffs. After watching series 1. I know that concern was outreaching..Even with Halak injured they are the team to beat in my opine and have four lines of fury.. Kings did outplay the Canucks in the first 2 games then it was hang on like a rock climber in a hurricane..Quick is solid however I cannot help but hear the words of the wise bear Polar denoting what a tandem Richards `n Carter where in Philly..I think his words will ring true at some stage in the game `til then I will fade... #8 Posted: 4/28/2012 5:55:01 PM Los Angeles prevailed in three of four regular-season meetings; two of those games were 1-0 decisions. Quick shut them out twice!!!!
Kings netminder Jonathan Quick, one of three nominees for the Vezina Trophy, went 4-1-0 with a 1.59 GAA and a .950 save percentage in five games against Vancouver.

#10 Posted: 4/28/2012 6:38:15 PM The Blues with a series against a mirror image of themselves will need to find a way to solve Jonathan Quick on a consistent basis who is playing on the same level as the likes of Mike Smith in Phoenix and Brian Elliott in St. Louis. The Kings have a bit more offensive threat than the Blues but St. Louis has more depth up front and with the contributions coming from the back end as well the the Blues powerplay firing on all cylinders and the penalty kill being ruthless in these playoffs....
