He's 2-0 against the Braves this year while allowing just 1 run and 9 hits in 13 innings. In his last start against them he allowed 4 hits and no runs in 7 innings. A win tonight would make him the first Met's starter in 23 years to win his first eight starts and the first rookie since Jered Weaver in 06 |

#2 Posted: 6/15/2011 10:22:09 AM Dillon Gee is getting no respect because he plays for the New York Muts!! If he goes 9-0 or 10-0 then the books will give this guy his due respect but till then he will be treated like any other normal pitcher simply because he does not play for a good team. |

#5 Posted: 6/15/2011 10:46:17 AM You could argue that he's only +135 at the Braves is getting some respect as it is. The Braves are a much better team and at home. What did you expect? The Mets to be favored? |

#6 Posted: 6/15/2011 10:48:02 AM Hudson has thrived at home and during the day. I think the line is fair.

He's getting more respect than his first start against them this year (+169), in which the Mets won 3-2
I don't recall saying he should be favored, I just think there is alot of value on this play |

#9 Posted: 6/15/2011 12:16:07 PM Braves were the best home team in baseball last year if I remember correctly and their ace is pitching. I don't know how much more respect you can give a rookie against Tim Hudson.

PapaS Hudson no longer ace of this staff. Think now both JJ and Hanson ahead of him and his back issues still there
