#52 Posted: 2/2/2012 1:16:47 AM Auburn 4* LBer recruit Cassanova McKinzy was just interviewed on television and was asked why he chose Auburn over Clemson. His response . . . "Well, Auburn has a Chic-fil-A on campus, and at Clemson you have to go a long way to find one."

What the hell was Dabo thinking??? I'll bet he has a Chic-fil-A on campus next season!!!

Indeed the job Mora did in such a short period of time with no previous recruiting experience was very impressive. The only problem is that he oversigned by 10 players. I guess we'll see how diplomatically he can run off 10 players (who probably need to be run off).

There was some good recruiting around the country i was surprized on some like Lane Kiffin i heard he was a great recruiter, and Arkansas were the hell was they.
Take Texas getting the No1 RB and they are a passing team...then theres Oklahoma Stoops loaded up with WR we know he's sticking with his memo airing the ball out 50 times a game.
Mac Brown / Texas done a great job he remains me of that grandpa that sets on the front porch what kids would not won't to play for a nicer coach...
But then again the State of Texas is so BIG its like winning 3 states in one recruiting area.
Congrats to your teams...

take it easy Jimmy. The comment was directed towards Thisguyis wise who is a Penn St fan and ironically is in here bashing the ethical standards of other universities.

More likely he's breathing a sigh of relief that he doesn't have to deal with a moron like that..... |

#60 Posted: 2/2/2012 11:16:57 AM . . . and just in case you thought I made up the Chik-fil-A story, see the link below. But the story gets even better. Apparently there IS a Chik-fil-A on the Clemson campus that Cassanova McKinzy was not aware of.

#62 Posted: 2/2/2012 12:19:33 PM Texas recruiting class is the best since 2002 (VY). 20 4 star or above recruits---that doesn't happen often.
Getting Torshiro Davis from LSU was MASSIVE yesterday after losing out on Edwards early in the month. Fills a big need and he's could be very special.
As far as TX being a "passing" team----Mack has wanted to change that since the loss to Alabama in the MNC.

not sure how anyone could consider the 2011 UT team to be a passing team.

If you would have asked me a couple of weeks ago, I would have said he was going to the Gators. He was one of the reasons I thought Florida would end up with the #1 recruiting class this year.
