I understand all of that fully. You are correct. Addiction and disease arent interchangeable words though......They are addicted to alcohol....they need it. Its not a disease.

you can cure diseases train. Sometimes Cancer is cured thru chemo. Sometimes Alcoholism is cured thru rehab. However, you will you need to keep a close eye on both going forward since you are already predisposed to them.

It's more of a mental thing than you realize. Honestly I'd probably think the same way you do if I didn't have the damn thing. Just be grateful that you don't. It's a guy.

Nobody wants to lose a job, live under a bridge, let their loved ones down time after time or die but it happens all the time all over the world. There are millions of cases of this and it's been studied by very intelligent people.

Try going on the Jerry Lewis telethon and get people to donate you money because you cant stop drinking Bud Light. Let me know how that turns out.

...agree.

no offense to any who have and consider drinking in order to calm your shakes a disease, but cmon. that is a big slap in the face to a f*cking dying 9 yr old kid in the hospital with cancer. go tell him that your need for a case of beer and a 1/5th of vodka for lunch is a disease. i dont think that kid is buying what youre tryin to sell.

i agree geneticly a gene from parents may b passed along that creates an instant liking to the taste of alcohol or sensation to it. but to call that a disease makes me chuckle.

gl to all and god bless self medication whatever you choose.....

Nothing to do with this, but more on the point of drug companies convincing people they have a "disease or condition".....Like A.D.D , fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, obesity, sex addiction

http://my.clevelandclinic.org/disorders/sleep_disorders/hic_shift_work_sleep_disorder.aspx

Nobody wants to accept they are weak. Its never their fault. They have a......" condition/sickness/disorder/disease". Come on.

Didn't intentionally try crack but 2nd hand yes.

I sell foreclosures. Bank assigns me a property in south central they say was already been evicted which is not the norm.

I have the key so open the door knock and yell hello just in case, 85% of the time there are squatters. House is empty (No furniture or trash) but I hear a womans voice respond. I yell who I am etc. and tell her she has to leave. She opens the bedroom door and this huge cloud of smoke pours out, I almost friggin hacked. It had a horrendous smell and definitely wasn't weed or cigarettes.

Slipped her $20 to pick up her crap and she left with no hassles. I felt like garbage the rest of the day just a general overall disgusted nauseated feeling. Not sure if it was the crack smoke or my mind friggin with me but it was disgusting.

Only way to try it is freebasing and pretty much impossible nowadays w/o the right ether. Not advocating it at all but it does show and remove most of the cut in the final product except any other caines (Lido)..And it sure shows you what % of the P is real .Crack is just smoking baking soda and whatever cut makes it through that process.Never done it.and basing has some serious downfalls-see Richard Pryor, and Ricky ? plane crash...60's pop singer..

Stay on the weed man ,

Extremely well said......a voice of common sense - so that means you can expect some with zero common sense to argue with you.

For those that will and/or are doing powder but wouldn't touch crack are basically saying they would rather drink a case of 4.0ABV Miller Light than take a few shots of 151 Rum. You eventually get the same effect from both, one just much more direct.

I sold crack in the 90's. Started off lacing a few blunts, not noticing much of a difference other than a slight boost. That was simply because the oil like substance crack becomes is often burned away smoking a blunt/joint.

Under the false assumption that it wasn't that strong, I eventually let someone that was copping smoke it at my spot. I took a couple blasts and it was intense. Needless to say, that reup didn't last long and my stash was gone by the next morning. I stayed away for a bit, but eventually did have another experience years later...

A girl I was dating at the time had a mother that was a crackhead and she didn't come around much. We went to see here on a whim one day and her mom was smoking out. We had been drinking and accepted an the offer for a blast. Big mistake. Watching a woman crawl on the floor at 5:30am on a weekday picking up anything REMOTELY appearing like a piece of crack was terrible.

Like many things and/or drugs in life, it starts out a great social experience. However, I've never been around or heard of any of these party nights ending well. Nobody ever has enough and goes home. People sell garbage, drain their accounts, call of work, lose jobs and destroy their lives often in the course of a few weeks. In short, stay the darn away..........

I was in Costa Rica on vacation last winter, and it is rampant down there. Outside the gates of the resort I was staying in you could see people flicking lighters trying to smoke it from a pipe, as well as hear gunshots go off at night. Scary place actually, but the country has no middle class - it's elitist and then dirt poor, so the only way to keep the poor down is to introduce that garbage into the equation. It'll destroy your mind ultimately and isnt worth it at all, sad actually.

never tried ANY drug, never will. This includes cigarettes.

from alcohol i drink only beer. On my brother's wedding i max out 12 beers. I handled em well, got drunk but not wasted drunk. Now 3-4 beers are enough for a proper worm up before party.

I drink coffee once a month. Every morning, after a beeping alarm sounds, in just 5 second im awake and capable to start doing whatever i want.

Im 31, in perfect physical and mental condition and i feel great.

DONT DO DRUGS, PLEASE
