The whole hotel is in construction, so there might be closed doors and mainteinance workers all around the hotel.
Still, it has a nice night life. The Tabú is still packed at night. The Rainforest is cool if you have kids and the sporstbook is decent.
As with all hotels, ask for a good view while checking in. meaning the strip or something other than some roof. |

#4 Posted: 4/24/2012 7:35:30 PM If you want a great hotel experience on your first visit, change hotels. You'll definitely get hotel-envy if you go to any other of the fancy ones. Depends on your plans there. I was in the room only to sleep and take a shower, so I didn't mind it that much. Also, this wasn't my first, and for the price and location it was ok. |

sportsbook is good but gets crowded early on any weekend day. They have moved poker room but used to be good.
Good location for nyny, excalibur, luxor, and mandalay bay.
I used bus system for the first time ever in vegas and it was great. Get a 3 day pass and take it when you get tired of walkign strip.
I like dealers and feel in mgm casino.
Food- They have either very expensive or fast food, there are more good middle of the road restaurants and other hotels.
mgm is mammoth and a little overwhelming at first but you will get used to it. Lay out is simple.
