+3.6 units.
Pick#1. Florida over NY. Most of my picks in the early going are based on starting pitching and bullpen for the most part because we are so early on. With that said, Joe Johnson is going for the Marlins today and he is a beast at home. 17-6 with a 2.52 era since '08. That and the Mets lineup is only hitting around .216 against him. I like Florida to win 5-3. ( 2 units to win 1 unit).
Pick#2. White Sox over Indians. With the White Sox at almost even money right now, I think this is the right play. White sox have a much more balanced team than the Indians all-around. 6-3 Sox.
(2 units to win 1.8)
Pick# 3. Astros over Phillies. This is a gut pick for me and I've learned that you have to go out on a ledge sometime to make some money. I know everyone is all over the Phillies, but my gut says Astros in a close one. Myers is no slouch and will certainly keep the game close against Halladay. 3-2 Astros.
