#6 Posted: 10/8/2012 9:08:28 PM He is the best defensive catcher in the AL and the second best in baseball behind Molina. He will win his second straight gold glove this year. Please get a clue and stop bitching.

i'm on the under 8 so when i see garbage like mark reynolds play first base like a dummy knowing that he barely hits over the mendoza line with bullshit meaningless home runs in garbage time, it pisses me off big time, was about to bet on the orioles too, glad i changed it last minute, andy pettite is so fuckin' reliable. |

A real true all star catcher is not going to let ichiro outsmart him like that in the 2nd game of the playoffs, down 1-0, let alone he's going to win a gold glove you say? my call out of mark wieters is an awesome thing why? Because he shall not pull that kind of crap EVER again in this game because he looked like a doofus on that play. |

#12 Posted: 10/8/2012 9:17:39 PM despite all those accoldaes that jacksorbetter mentioned, the guy made a dumb mistake against a team that you can not do against the yankees... or pay for it. |

#13 Posted: 10/8/2012 9:18:26 PM what do you think this forum is about? it's about bitching and moaning, reacting! You think i wake up in the morning feeling the same way? i said what i said and it stays in the game until it is finished! You win or lose, you just fuckin' move on to the next game! It's just like in the nba, players are complaining about every call against them every single time. They are allowed to react in the heat of the moment and so here we have this forum to do the same garbage against these great players who can act like an idiot from time to time. |

what's wrong with me being stupid and taking a garbage in my pants in the first inning? i'm too lazy to go to the bathroom when catchers make dumb mistakes in playoff games. |

#19 Posted: 10/9/2012 1:43:35 PM If you are comparing Matt Wieters to Shawn Bradley and calling him a slow, dumb darn in the first inning of a game, it might be time to stop gambling. He actually is 6'5 to answer that question. He did win the gold glove last year and will win it again this year despite the fact that you think he can't tag anyone. That was also him that scored the game winning run. He is also the reason the Yankees are not attempting to steal any bases.
You also have to realize that Ichiro should have been called out for being out of the baseline. He gets 3 feet outside his path he is taking to the plate. He ended up 8 feet outside his direct path. He should have been called out but Angel Hernandez might be the worst umpire in baseball.

crow my man i feel your pain...
ive always maintained it's mistakes that decide games, even tho they're pros they make 'em eh...
u got wieters who im sure wishes he had a do-over on that suzuki move...then you get crisp who's been catchin fly balls since he was in diapers but suddenly he turns into a hamfisted gomer flunking OF 101...and then you get relievers bouncin pitches in front of home plate and on and on and on...
vent away my friend, my outlet is thinkin about the gr8t moments we see, like brooks robby vs the reds in the '70 serious...jack morris's 10-inning gem for the twins...gibby taking goose, and a few yrs later eck, deeeeep ova the wall in right fieeeeeld...
sometimes they do get it right, just like us as gamblers
GL and carry on fightin the good fight
