It's the 13th of Feb. and i'm feeling lucky. Hit two 7 team teasers Yesterday - calling easy plays like Florida - Alabama-  Michigan State - Townson - Virginia - Heat - and Lakers.

++ Today ++ there are 47 CBB games on ( If I counted correctly ) and 7 NBA games. As I was looking down the list of match ups- there was just way too many good games on. It would be a sham to treat this like a normal betting day.

no son- there will be none of that single straight bet garbage tonight. In poker- the best hand is a pair of balls. Tonight- we hit a 25 team parlay + teaser.

I will be investing  $50 into a series of 25 team teasers and parlays. The other $50 will be a smaller set of teasers/parlays that should aim to have a really good chance of winning to make up for the 25'er if it manages to fail - which it wont.

To make this easy to follow - I will be posting each pick below with a different color text ; separately. Each pick will have a detailed explanation behind the wager decision.

It would be great if everyone pitches with opinions- disagree or agree with the picks - add your own - more information the better.

is going to be a longggg early morning. Pass the coffee- hand over the cigg- led go.

Pick 1 - Indiana -22.5

You have to be sorta good to be ranked #1. We all know there is no chance for an upset against Nebraska - but will they cover the steep negative digit mark.

If we compare the teams Nebraska has lost to that Indiana beat - we get a sense of how outmatched the CornHuskers will be. This might be Mike Tyson vs ... a white kid.

+ NEB lost to ; Purdue - MSU - MINN - OSU - MICH and got demolished by ILL at home  71-51. The Hoosiers beat all those teams with the accept-ion of only losing to a basket against ILL .......  AWAY.

There is a slight sense of caution when seeing NEB only lose by 10 against MSU and OSU - but home court should push this game to the high 30's lead for IND

we'll add -22.5 into the parlay  and push this down to -10 for the guaranteed teaser.

Pick 2 - DUKE DUKE DUKE - 10.5

I honestly think the vegas intentionally set the line to -10.5 to give people flash backs of the Boston game. They want to make betters think this has a chance of losing.

+ NC performed worse (16-7)  with a weaker SOS ranked #29  while Duke is listed at # 1 SOS going ( 21-2 )  ( which i believe is a bit off ) Duke beat better teams like LOU - OSU - UK ( even though they suck ) NCST.

+ only 3 scoring starters from last year's team will play for NC- and one of them is a sophomore - pathetic.  This game is HOME for Duke - and the added importance considering the riveraly will ensure Duke will be focused both half's - which is terrible news for NC.

Lay the -10.5 put it down to - 6 for the guarantee win.

Pick 3 - Illinois -8.5

Yet another ? line. How is it set so low?

Given the situation for redemption for a loss to PUR away on Jan 2 - - don't think they'll treat this as a home game free pass.

+ Combine Home court advantage with the confidence boost from huge wins over IND and MINN.

Illinois  should be able to win this game - but the  -8.5 is spookn me a little. Seems too low for me and i'm trying to figure out why. Perhaps PUR is a "kroptonite team".

Never the less- I'm confident the crowd will get this game in motion towards a victory in case of a close game. If so - last min Illinois should have the lead - and last second fouls should give them a guaranteed -4 win.

Pick 4 - Butler -12

I'd call Charlotte a Smuck team. Above average team that can beat below average teams - but once it comes to facing real competition- they fail to produce convincing results.

+  8 of their first 10 games were home and against average RPI 100-300 teams. Their last 6 games have been against tougher teams ( RPI 39,39,65,76 )- explains the  2-4 results. I feel Charlotte has a false sense of how good they are - and facing Butler (RPI 14 )  might give them a reality check.

Considering just teasing this one down to - 5  because from past experience- teams that think they are good sometimes do better than they should. If Butler shows up for two halfs- this game should be a blow out.

I like Duke play, but I will mark that down

Butler starting senior center is doubtful, and not sure whether that increases their chance to cover by playing a smaller lineup and running which is exactly what I would do if your coaching Butler.... Got to be able to practice changing tempo's..   I'm not the coach tho.  22.5 with indiana .  well, its hard to determine if thats too high.. Nebraska played well last game and might slow the tempo.  I did play Penn state +27 @ Indiana, covered that and there not as good as Nebraska .  Is purdue due for a cover.   I think its possible Illinois could play down to their competition and is it not safer to play an on fire Illinios state team -12.5 in a possible higher tempo situation ..

Did you consider Memphis as a play.  It was a blood bath last year in the Fed Ex Forum vs Central Fla knights.  They won by 30, and Memphis dominated last game @ So Miss
