TONIGHT 3 PLAYS:
NATI COMES INTO TONIGHT OFF A TOUGH ROAD LOSS TO THE USF BULLS. WHICH WAS A HARD FOUGHT DEFENSIVE BATTLE THROUGHOUT. HOWEVER DOWN THE STRETCH CINCY WAS ABLE TO MAKE SOME CRUCIAL BUCKETS TO GO UP BUT IT WASNT ENOUGH AS USF PG COLLINS DRAINED TWO FT'S AT THE END TO WIN IT FOR THE BULLS. WHAT THAT GAME SHOWED ME IS THAT THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF FIGHT IN THIS CINCY TEAM. THEY REBOUND VERY WELL, HUSTLE ALOT AND THEY HAVE SOME GUYS WHO CAN REALLY SCORE WHEN THEY NEED A BUCKET. KILPATRICK CAN SCORE SLASHING AND HE CAN SCORE FROM BEYOND THE ARC. HE REALLY IS BALLING THIS YEAR.
MARQUETTE LAST GAME SQUEAKED BY WEST VIRGINIA DESPITE BUZZ WILLIAMS SUSPENDING 4 PLAYERS INCLUDING DJO. THEY DID IT BY FORCING WEST VIRGINIA INTO 19 TURNOVERS WHICH IS A DEATH WISH WHEN FACING MARQUETTE WHO MAKES YOU PAY OFF TURNOVERS. TONIGHT THEY FACE CINCINNATI WHO IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE BIG EAST IN PROTECTING THE ROCK. ONLY TURNING IT OVER 10.6 TIMES PER GAME ON THE YEAR!! HOWEVER LAST GAME ON THE ROAD AGAINST MARQUETTE THE BEARCATS TURNED THE ROCK OVER 14 TIMES AND HAD A HARD TIME HITTING SHOTS. DONT EXPECT THAT TO HAPPEN TONIGHT AT HOME. ITS A MUCH DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT AND THE HOME TEAM ALWAYS DOES BETTER IN THESE CATEGORIES PLAYING IN FRONT OF THEIR OWN FANS. THE LAST GAME ALSO SHOWED ME THE REBOUNDING ADVANTAGE CINCY HAS. THEY OUT REBOUNDED MARQUETTE 39-28 WHICH INCLUDED 18 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS FOR THE CATS!!
FOLKS THE BEARCATS WILL POUND THE BOARDS AT HOME,THEY WILL SHOOT THE ROCK MUCH BETTER AT HOME, AND THEY WILL PROTECT THE BALL MUCH BETTER AT HOME. ALL INGREDIENTS LEADING TO AN UPSET OF MARQUETTE. I CAN EASILY SEE CINCINNATI WINNING THIS BY MORE THAN 1 POSSESSION AND I WILL BE ON THEM LARGE IN THIS ONE.
CINCINNATI -1 LARGE

IF MARQUETTE WINS GOD BLESS THEM HOWEVER CINCY IS THE TEAM WITH THE ADVANTAGE HERE AND THATS ALL I CAN DO WHEN I BET ON GAMES. |

THAT WAS HILARIOUS ALTHOUGH I TRULY DONT THINK HE MEANT ANYTHING BY IT. HE WAS JUST DANCING TO THE SONG NOT THINKING ABOUT WHAT HE WOULD LOOK LIKE TO THE FANS. |

#8 Posted: 2/29/2012 1:16:40 PM Seems eerilly Similar to your WVU write-up, which by the way would have been smashed had it not been for suspensions. Also, is it really an upset if Cincinatti is favored - I see where your coming from but I would say no.
Anyway, not here to give you garbage alla last time, unless I pounce on Marquette. I love the team and think they will win, but it is a big game for Cincy coupled w senior night - I may sit out.
Nice run you have going for yourself, wish I jumped on a couple with you. |

#10 Posted: 2/29/2012 1:30:48 PM I will be watching this game and reminiscing of my days in Cincinnati. Some fun times in grad school there.I agree with your analysis and I think cincys cOaching staff is underrated . I miss bob Huggins but I will take this coach any day. They will bring every bit of intensity tonight. Gl |

#11 Posted: 2/29/2012 6:21:31 PM NOT A WHOLE LOT OF TIME FOR WRITEUPS ON THE OTHERS
PLAY #2
LOUISVILLE -9
VILLE WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF USF TURNOVERS. LOUIE AVERAGES OVER 9 STEALS A GAME WHILE THE BULLS COUGH IT UP ABOUT 7.5 PER GAME. LOUISVILLE WILL RUN AND NOT ALLOW THE BULLS TO SET UP DEFENSIVELY. THIS GAME COULD GET UGLY IF THE CARDINALS CARDINALS ARE HOT TONIGHT.

#13 Posted: 2/29/2012 6:50:09 PM Got to go with the hot and better team this game. Mu wins by 5. And remember Mu suspended djo their best player for the 1st half of the west va game. If they would of had a full team they would have won by alot. Just saying. Good luck tho. I'm with you on Louisville though. |

UNLV -3 (BUY HOOK) THE REBELS NEED THIS ONE TO WIN THE MWC. EXPECT THEM TO BE FOCUSED AND THE EFFORT TO BE THERE. THEY ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE CONFERENCE AND THEY WILL FLEX THEIR MUSCLE TONIGHT. |
