Going to be in the teens at gametime.  Very thankful I live in California.  About the game: I like the under.  Wisconsin has finally stepped up defensively in the last couple weeks.  their run defense is stout and will limit UM from moving the ball.  Even if they can get some run game working, this will result in long time consuming drives.  If those drives stall or result in FG's the under play looks solid.

Common opponents comparison exposes the gophers.

UW:
vs IND 51-3
at IOWA 28-9
vs NW 35-6

UM:
at IND 42-39
vs IOWA 7-23
at NW 20-17

Badgers dominated each team while Minn just snuck by or lost badly. Gophers have not seen a DEF like this all year (Iowa & Mich two best, they avg only 10 pts) and will struggle to reach 14 pts.

Minny trying to earn their stripes as a bonafide power running team will get an up close and personal look at the genuine article. Just not in the Badgers class yet.

Wisky moving up the rankings vying for a BCS bowl means no let up.

Lay it guys!

Emotion helps the Gophers keep it close for a while.Ive got it 17-17 at the half.

Then the Badgers own the 2nd half and run away with it,easily  covering the 16 points.

Minnesota has been playing good football. Badgers in no question is a far better team. But the gophers at home +17 is the play.

Badgers- 40

Gophers- 27

Minnesota has me and my investment twice this year (Indian & Penn State)…  I watched them twice this year against San Jose State (I really wasn’t impressed) and against Penn State (they were very impressive especially on the offensive side of the ball).  I LOVE Wisconsin’s new head coach and he will have them in the National Championship conversation in a couple years after he gets a chance to get his style athlete in the program, but as of now he has the Badgers playing an extremely physical brand of football.

NO way in hxll I’m fooling with a side here; gun to my head I would take the points at home, due to the fact, Whisky passing game isn’t strong enough to lay this much chalk on the road to such a skilled offensive unit IMHO.  Now with that said, I think Wisconsin wins this game SU, but the Gophers will score at least 24 points so………………….  put me down for Over the Total for three (3) C-Notes please.  Thanks!

Minn will be without their best WR.    Wisc motivated to impress to possibly get at large sugar bowl or orange bowl slot.      Wisc is a top 10 caliber team.    Minn has had a great story playing for their coach, but two well coached teams on a frozen field, I will take my changes with a more talented team, and in my opinion that is Wisc.

Wisc 35

Minn 10

Wisc -17

Wisconsin all the way. As said above, common opponents says it all. Minnesota has really exceeded expectations most weeks, but they are in for a rude awakening today.

Had the side but didn’t pull the trigger…  At any rate, nice job Minnesota and Under backers!
