Why is Baylor not in the conversation for a legit MNC game contestant right now?  You know like Bama, Oregon, Florida St, and Ohio St.???  There isn't a soul alive honestly throwing their name in the hat saying they deserve to be 3rd or even 4th in that group.  WHY???   They have beat NO ONE with a pulse.  KSU was the only team that could put up a fight and lost by 10.  Riding all this emotion is going to empty most of your wallets.  Betting is a logical business, not an emotional flavor of the month conviction.  Baylor is not nearly as dominant as you think against real competition, and OU is not nearly as bad as many are saying.  Sure Baylor will win, and possibly by 2 TD's when it's all said and done.  But telling me Baylor is more than 2 TD's better than 7-1 OU...you're betting with heart and emotion as Baylor has given you not one solid game of proof they are at that level.  KSU is the onyl one you can count among those dog flea opponents...and we saw that was no blowout.  You won't cover 15 here...guarantee.

last 4 games average scores :

Okla 28 to 25
Bay 59 to  22

Okla. average yards for off and def was 425 / 294 against WVU and KU in these two games.
for Baylor the averages were 809 / 353.

I'll go with Da Bears here - 18 if need be

I cant agree with you more Dr Dogs .. Stoops blows and thats why they call the team CHOKELAHOMA ...... Baylor is the playing in the 2000's Chokelahome back in the 80's / Baylor 7-0 to the over in the 1st quarter this year , so take Baylor -4 in the 1st quarter and go ahead and take BIG the over 14 1/2 1st quarter ..... you will thank me later

Don't be fooled by Baylor's high scoring attack. They haven't played garbage. Well i will tell you that Stoops hasn't been the coach for Okla all these years for no reason. Okla will cover that spread and i wouldn't be surprised if they beat that bear behind altogether.

After reading all these posts.  IMHO Baylor backers are repeatedly comparing scores vs like teams this year (WV)!!??  Not smart.  WV is unpredictable ATS.  Oklahoma's O-line will push Baylor around like they do every year.  Oklahoma will run for 250+ which means Baylor will not cover two touchdowns.  IMHO

My pick is going to be Home Favorite here on this spot. Onlines books give out home favorite -16.5. Take Baylors...... Must be some key players of Sooners injured ?.

I love this site!!!!!!!

Everyone giving their opinion about sharp/square money and what its doing to the line!!!!    You could grab this game last Saturday for less than 10.   This line has skyrocketed well over a TD since it opened.   You hardly see that kinda movement in the weeks leading up to bowl games.

My analysis of line movement....SHARPS love Baylor up to 10, then the public takes over and finally realizes (on Wed, that this game is available).  Books continue to over adjust for money, and now the Squares pour it on to SEVENTEEN!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I have BAY -10.5   .....  and OKL +17.

OKL this high is now value.  IMM(athmatical)O

Oklahoma will cover, no brainer.

Anyone on here that says Baylor will cover this line has GOT to be working for the casinos. Baylor will win but not by more than 6 or 7 pts. It's going to be close

Dude you've got to be crazy. Vegas wants 90% of the money on the wrong side. We see this happen all the time.  I never see 50/50 splits on the spread, although I go by covers consensus and  I know that is not accurate (Not much on this site is! I've noticed TONS of errors with covers information every single day!! Purposely done? I'm sure it is. Nobody can be that stupid as to make THAT many blatent errors. Covers is in cahoots with the bookies and that is more than obvious. Even their so called "Experts" suck at picking winners.

OKLAHOMA +17   Are you kidding me?

If Baylor wins by 17, Stoops should be fired on the 50 yard line. Overall, Oklahoma has better athletes. A decent game (ball control) plan will keep it close.

Keep in mind, consensus stats are listed on sites as tickets, not amounts.

I heard once it takes $1M on a side to move a line half a point...   anyone have any insight?

I saw bits and pieces of Baylor a couple times this year (mostly caught their offense and turned back to whatever game I had an investment riding), but I didn’t realize that secondary was that daxn good!  That front seven “ain’t” bad, but that Baylor secondary is as good as the two best secondary’s I’ve seen this year (Florida State and Florida) AND they will absolutely lay the wood!

With that said, EXCELLENT piece of work Baylor and Under backers!
