I'm going with Michigan State...hard to bet against Sparty at home. Michigan is vulnerable on the road as proved by their loss to Wisco.

As for the amount of black players... They key is having smart athletic kids who know how to play together - regardless of skin color.

Confident in saying Sparty gets the W, agree this will be a defensive battle.....simply you can't live by the 3reeeeee, and you must crash the paint which MSU will make it difficult

If Sparty can limit the turnovers, to probably 10 or less, then they will win.

Check Michigan State's turnovers in the past two games.

I know that's only two games and not enough for any kind of a sample size. However, Minn and Illinois aren't nearly as good as Michigan.

It's an intriguing aspect I thought I would throw out.

I agree with you two there. Like I said before, I'm not playing this game. If I made a first half play...more than likely it would be on the under.

On the road at a number 8 team? If that is all the information you're going by then good luck.

After the fact, and only reading this thread now, this is good info to keep in your notes. Mich St has won me alot of money 2nd H this year. This team continues to cover 2nd halfs when it says they wont. Keep that in your mind in the future. Not a team I'm betting against 2nd Half.

Michigan looked horrible last night.  Their only form of offense apparently is jacking up threes.  Maybe it was a hang over from the suicide schedule the last few, or maybe they were finally exposed.  Fortunately they will have a chance to bounce back with only 2 joke road games left.  They can also even the score with the conference leaders Mich St and Indiana at home, one of which will lose next Tuesday in East Lansing.

I expected more out of Michigan last night, as I'm sure most people did, especially starting the game out. State just came ready to play, Michigan did not.

State did a great job of forcing turnovers against the team that is best in not committing them. Michigan had twice as many turnovers as State and when Burke got into foul trouble things really unraveled for Michigan.

Michigan had some weaknesses really exposed last night.

Sparty only committed 8 turnovers and forced Michigan into 16. Great game for Sparty. Rebounding edge was predictable as State won that. However, State was able to make more free throws than U of M attempted. I thought that was pretty impressive.
