#32 Posted: 8/24/2010 1:14:05 AM This one has me scratching my head. Hammel has a 3.30 era at home and the rockies have a .298 average at home compared to .228 on the road.

The umps blew that game for Braves backers. First of all, the strike zone was so big that any advantage we had with Hudson was basically neutralized. Second, after the Braves battled back to tie it in the 8th, the second base umpire, Ed Rapuano (sp?), completely choked on the Carlos Gonzalez steal attempt. He was in such a bad position that he missed Brian McCann throwing him out by at least 8 inches. It was such a bad call that if you were watching the game, you didn't even need slo-mo to see it. Just horrible. Of course, two batters later, Todd Helton drives him in for the go ahead/game winning run. It was a brutal beat at the hands of the umps.
But Coach Moss is the sh*t. Gonna lose a couple every now and then no matter what. Hopefully Coach can bounce back this week.
