YTD  18-26  ( -21.25 units )

PHOENIX / CHICAGO OVER 155.5 ( 3 units )
After playing 6 consecutive Unders from early to mid June the Phoenix Mercury have now played 3 straight Overs. Losing Taurasi  and recently Dupree I noticed a significant drop on O/Us involving Mercury games. Of course it makes sense !! As the games went Under the posted totals continued to drop.
This total of 155.5 is the second lowest total I've seen in a Mercury game in almost two years.
I realize the Sky run a half court offense and look for Folwes in the post on almost every trip, but Phoenix always dictates the pace  regardless of who they play. Sylvia should have a big day in the paint, the Mercury don't double team opposing players. Dupree listed as questionable and it looks like the Mercury once again will dress only 8 girls, but I can't pass up this number. I think it's too low and Sammy P is a firecracker. She keeps pushing the ball and she's being making her shots.  The Sky need a big game just to boost some confidence as they are currently on a 3 game losing streak. Couldn't think of a better opponent than the Mercury to ring up a 90 spot.

Haven't looked at the line yet, but I'm going to have a strict self-rule to play against Chicago any time theyre favored.

I think betting on totals are a waste of time.
When you lose only by one point it is gut wrenching.

Just my opinion. Only seem to win on head to head and some line action :).

That certaintly seems smart with the best player out.  I took Indiana against them last game, however Phoenix is one of those teams that can't play dead and I think CHicago might kick there behind.

Phoenix doesn't play defense because they attempt to run run run on everyone.  Chicago can't play that way right now with their best scorer out.  Their only option is to run half-court sets and use Fowles to dominate the paint and get people in foul trouble.  That does 2 things, obviouly slows the game down making it tough to cover a DD spread...and also allows the Mercury to try and play defense rather than making the game a total track meet.
