#1 Posted: 11/28/2007 5:24:26 PM Detroit has no business being a 8.5 favorite against Cleveland. I'm taking Detroit and I am taking Sacramento at home. They play very tough at home. |

#2 Posted: 11/28/2007 5:33:12 PM Detroit might be the play ml. I just never like detroit laying big lines like this especially at home because they never seem to cover big lines no matter who the opposition is. |

#4 Posted: 11/28/2007 5:43:54 PM Detroit is 2-7 ATS in its last 9 games at home
Detroit is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games when playing Cleveland
Detroit is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games when playing at home against Cleveland
Do you guys still think Cleveland is the play. Vegas is begging you to take Cleveland |

#5 Posted: 11/28/2007 5:46:22 PM sometimes when they beg you they are begging you to win. It isnt always if it looks too good stay away. you just have to know when to get on and when not too. obviously you dont have that ability. keep your day job. Cleveland +8.5. also Toronto -7. |

#6 Posted: 11/28/2007 5:47:33 PM I was leaning towards Cleveland, but after thinking about it, I think it's a no play. Cleveland just beat the current best team in the East, have Lebron James on the team and now are getting 8.5 pts and they have covered the last 8 head to heads. The public is going to pound them. The public isn't often right when they virtually all choose the same side. I have to stay away from this one. GLTA. |

#8 Posted: 11/28/2007 6:00:56 PM Agree with Deezy about Det not coverin big spreads, but I'd never take a team (even as well as Cleve has been playin) playin their 4th in 5 days on the road vs a team as good as Det (gettin 'Sheed back) only gettin 8.5. Cleve will not have it's usual defensive intensity & will miss Varejeo in this one. I've got Det 1st qtr, ML & teased to -2.5. GL |

#9 Posted: 11/28/2007 6:40:22 PM The Pistons are classic for letting the back door cover happen. They are horrendous at holding leads. They have no problem getting up 15-20 points, and letting the opposition close within 5, and they win semi-comfortably but not covering. |

And while historically they've been semi-slow starters while still closing qtrs & halves pretty well, this year they've been gettin off to hot starts puttin up good #'s in the 1st qtr. I'm bankin on 'em doin the same tonite - GL tonite! |

#14 Posted: 11/28/2007 9:59:26 PM tonight just shows how terrible the cavs are without lebron. they would probably be a 20 win team without him. what was it a 7 pt lead by detroit at the half and then lebron sits out the second half and they lose by 33, its a joke |

#20 Posted: 11/28/2007 10:12:06 PM greek- i was not on either side. i am a big pistons fan and i live in ohio. everyone thinks the cavs are some great team and i will give them that lebron is great but they really do not have anyone else they can count on. lebron pretty much has to get a triple double for them to win a game. they better hope he isn't out for very long or they will be in trouble in a hurry

#22 Posted: 11/29/2007 8:17:44 AM congrats american on your pistons selection. I still think if Lebron plays more than 15 minutes that I was right but, if is the biggest word in the english dictionary and you were right. All I am saying is be careful on games that look weird or too easy. They really do go either way. Good luck in the future. |
