**all plays are $16.50 to win $15.00 unless noted otherwise**
Here we go for the Saturday card. Narrowed it down to these. If things go well early on I have a couple of late program plays that I have my eye on.
Another note, the program picked the Orangemen today at noon. I tossed them out, but I'm actually considering a 1H play on Long Beach St. I probably won't do it, because I feel going against the program might be bad juju, but consider this if your considering the Syracuse game as a play. The Orangemen have been favored by 15 or more in 3 games this season....and they were LOSING OUTRIGHT at the half in all 3 of those games. They did end up winning all 3 games, but failed to cover each of them. The one thing going for them is that the 49ers are a west coast team playing a noon est game.
Ok, on to the plays...
2pm
Ohio pk 73
Deleware pk 68
UMass +18 58
Kansas -18 87
E Kentucky +4 66
Ball St. -4 59
4pm
Valparaiso +15.5 52
Miami (OH) -15.5 77
7-7:30pm
Chatanooga +22 56
Davidson -22 90
Cleveland St. -7.5 69
Marist +7.5 55
There you have it. I think it might be time to find a 2nd book during the college bball season because I'm starting to lose value in some lines. It's not happening everyday or on a bunch of games, but enough to where a second book might be in order. That Ohio line was 1.5 last night, then my book doesn't put out the lines until this morning and when they do that damn line is down to a pk.

#3 Posted: 12/13/2008 10:26:06 AM sheffy, the Cowboys are one of the later games that I have my eye on. If my 2pm games go well, I might add them as a play. I have them winning by 8.5.

Gonna give my first total of the season a try. Going very light on it though.
Tennessee / Temple UNDER 149.5 $5.50 to win $5.00
Decided to throw in a total in the noon games instead of playing LBST 1H. |

#7 Posted: 12/13/2008 11:45:23 AM Like the plays. Kansas is on a neutral court or else I'd be all over it. Still in their territory, but they are a different animal on Naismith Court
I like the Ohio play as well, will probably be adding it before tipoff.

#9 Posted: 12/13/2008 1:45:01 PM Wow, I'm gonna take a horrible beat on this tennessee game, good lord. They needed to score 91 points in the 2H to beat me, and I think they might score 120. Tell me how the hell that happens? |

#11 Posted: 12/13/2008 2:29:12 PM Don't feel bad, Freight. I bet Tenn. Temple lost ot a pretty average Buffalo team by double digist and they beat Tenn. by double digits? I might as well throw darts at the schedule instead of trying to pick.
I did win with Butler, though.

#13 Posted: 12/13/2008 4:13:39 PM Early action results:
Ten/Tem UNDER 149.5 -$5.50
Kansas -18 -$16.50
Ohio pk -$16.50
E Kentucky +4 +$15.00
1-3-0 -$23.50
3 games left, and need all 3 to cash for a winning day.
I'm gonna try my hardest not chase later tonight, but if something does come up that the program has picked and I feel confident in, I might take it. |
