calbear - maybe you can get 4 1/2 somewhere tomorrow, not much difference from 6 as far as key numbers, GL |

week 3 recap - 14-6 (2-2 large) (+6.3 units) - tough losses with Rutgers and A&M blowing leads late, couple close wins as well
not liking the week 4 slate as much, time to get some coffee and check out further - estimated opening numbers (not selections) for a few games
Ole Miss -5 at SC....probably sounds low to some
Mizzou -10 at Nevada
LSU -14 at Miss St....LSU still unimpressive so far
TCU PK at Clemson
Tenn -19 vs Ohio
Cincy -14 vs Fres St
Cal -6 at Oregon...Masoli just completed a pass now up to 3-for-50
UGA -13 vs Ariz St
Florida -20 at Kentucky
Auburn -28 vs Ball St
Stanford -8 vs UW...we can all look forward to hearing term letdown 593 times before kickoff
Fla St -5 vs USF...should be interesting matchup
USC -43 vs Wash St..jesus did WSU actually win a game
MiaFL PK at Va Tech...board will love Canes after last week
Alabama -15 vs Ark....Arky should be popular dog, now they just need to find a defense before the game
Penn St -11 vs Iowa...will PSU ever cover again
Notre Dame -5 at Purdue...anticipate many piling on ND again similar to previous couple of weeks
Tex Tech -4 at Houston...line tighter than usual after UH upset of OSU

#108 Posted: 9/20/2009 9:16:16 AM I think that PSU/Iowa line might be big. I would play the Hawks there. I'm thinking more like 7.5/8.

#110 Posted: 9/20/2009 9:52:20 AM Good Week Nos I had a Big weekend Myself
I have looked at some games for next week already...... My advise for the Clemson game is it could go either way.. I do Believe Clemson will be a small Favorite in this one 2 maybe 3 points.... But What I do Like is the Under in this Game....38 - 41

I believe you are in the 4% of people who are making money in CFB right now |

That makes two of NOS.
Question for tonight, lines come out. What would you guess the Notre Dame / Purdue line might be? -17, -20?
I think I would take it up to -21.
I've made pretty good money on Purdue this year...know the team pretty well. That receivers core for ND will rip right through them.

#113 Posted: 9/20/2009 12:50:53 PM TR - i think you might be right was thinking PSU 9 or 10 after original guess of 11
kaplan, boom - agree with TCU/Clemson thoughts, should be a battle if number is reasonable
double, placin -
ND around 5-7 I would think due to playing at Purdue, its too bad apparently Floyd is out with collarbone although agree passing game should still do some damage |

#114 Posted: 9/20/2009 2:56:26 PM I can pick some winners, I can't guess line predictions at all, can you tell?
ND passing games tears through them. But line has to be inflated though to account for all blind mice betting ND.

#116 Posted: 9/20/2009 4:36:21 PM I hope that USF/FSU line opens at that. I would be all over FSU. USF starting QB Matt Grothe tore his ACL and is done for the year.
