#8701 Posted: 5/7/2012 12:48:03 AM Was posting in other thread but the 2 late game totals (NBA) came in 1-1 according to line movement. Sorta.
The Boston line had went down, but then shot up to 172.5 or 172 before game started, and then tracked WAY over, and got to the total with around 6 min left in the game, and then it landed (at the END) at 180??? What? They scored like 10 points last 6 minutes in an NBA playoff game.
Then Denver, who's line shot to 202.5 late, only to go under. Fortunately though both of these were disqualified and system stayed at a perfect 1-0 today. |

#8702 Posted: 5/7/2012 10:18:53 AM BAY AREA BASH BROTHERS FANTASY BASEBALL UPDATE_______________________________ CALIFORNIA BEARS CREAM BLUE CRUSHERS 9-4! The California Bears (Booyahz) led by the superb pitching of Jason Hammel 13 K's 0.95 Whip defeated the Blue Crushers (Crushalot) and knocked the Blue Crushers out of 1st Place. The Bears swept every pitching category and has put the league on notice that their pitching staff is the absolute bomb. The Bears now move to 2nd Place only 1/2 game from the Penthouse.
CHAMPIONSHIP-ALWAYS 2ND PLACE BATTLE TO A 7-7 TIE! The Championship (Krams) battled to a tie with Always 2nd Place and by doing so was able to remain in 1st Place because of the beatdown suffered by the Crushers their ex-roommates in the Penthouse. OF Carlos Gonzalez helped the team tremendously by blasting 3 HR's and knocking 9 runs. In addition Gonzalez scored 6 runs while batting .391 for the Championship.
FIREBALLS FINALLY GET HOT SCORCH HOMERUN KINGZ 11-3! The Fireballs(SmoothD) are starting to rev up as they opened up a can whoop behind on Homerun Kingz. GM SmoothD once again was active in the trade market in making acquisitions. Two of those pickups Matt Latos and Adam Wainwright combined for 24 K's and both Pitchers had Whips under 1.00. OF Giancarlo Stanton came to the party hitting 3 HR's and getting 5 RBI's on .826 Slugging percentage. This is all what the Doctor ordered for the Fireballs who don't want to wait till Summer to get hot like they did last year. GM SmoothD is sending a message to his team to win now and win consistently. I would say the team is responding with this huge win over Homerun Kingz their old nemesis. ______________________________ STANDINGS GB 1. CHAMPIONSHIP - 2. CALIFORNIA BEARS .5 3. HOMERUN KINGZ 20.5 ____________________________ This week's Showdown Matchup features the Blue Crusher's going to war with Always 2nd Place in a battle for possible 1st Place.

#8710 Posted: 5/7/2012 5:00:19 PM Guys it's too early to call any games yet but I'm racking my brain for a Survivor pick.
I'm supposed to be only using system plays and guess I have to wait, but so far I'm leaning towards Memphis.
Memphis has either won outright, or lost by 1 point (twice) in the previous 4 or 5 games with the Clips.
One time they were up 21+ points in the fourth and collapsed and lost by 1, and then the other night they had an 8 point lead they lost and were down 6 in the last night, and miraculously fought to being DOWN 1 AGAIN with the ball, and 8 seconds to go.
If anyone was watching that game you prob thought Memphis was going to win. I did. With 8 seconds I figured they'd go inside and either get a good look or layup or get fouled, something, but instead Rudy Gayboy attempted an awful 3-pt attempt and missed, game over, Memphis still covered.
I think Memphis wins outright tonight. They are better than the Clips when they play up to their potential, but I must admit they suck in the fourth quarter.
Thoughts? |

#8711 Posted: 5/7/2012 8:13:19 PM Ok, crappy day yesterday, but managed to end day with under in lakers, had it on streak also.
How many rim rollers that fell out for ATL in that 2H? Missed the cover by one bucket. I would make that bet again. |

#8713 Posted: 5/7/2012 8:18:59 PM CZECH,both late game totals goin up was public money moving it up.
When a team or teams over shoot in 1H, they will almost certainly come down to earth in 2H. Same with totals, vegas knows these games and if you watch and take notes, these games wiil almost always average out by games end. |

Czech- I haven't changed it for a few days. You have to refresh your screen and the latest one will pop up. Sometime if you go to a different computer it will show an older Avatar. It happens to me all the time. I refreshed my screen and saw your new Avatar as well. Good deal. "Sorry We're Closed" Beautiful! |

#8716 Posted: 5/7/2012 8:35:54 PM Czech and his boys have a lively discussion going on in his thread. I have checked it out and posted a few notes as well. Check it out and put in your opinions. Great to see that the $25 Dime Club is creating spin offs. One of their comments on his thread which I really liked was how a poster said he liked Czech's thread because there was no drama or friction. This is what it's suppose to be about and we're very fortunate to have created a supportive but lively thread for $25 Dime Club Members to openly express their views. GL boys and let's keep riding! |

#8717 Posted: 5/7/2012 8:47:18 PM I have an announcement to make! I kept this under wraps because I didn't know how it would go or the reaction to it. The boys from streakbeasts.com have another site that is devoted to streaks and one of the forums is devoted to Covers. The guys were kind of enough to ask me to be a contributor on their thread. I write about the Covers picks and add some humor. I'm glad that people are enjoying my writing and frankly I have been pleasantly surprised. But I appreciate all the support that I have received regarding my writing. You can go to the site here and click on the Covers thread http://www.streakbeasts.com/Forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=c66bb54f5f950fd9750bba03fc48492b;wwwRedirect I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you guys think. I just started 3 days ago. I promise I wont be like Sarah J Phillips and ask you for money. |

#8723 Posted: 5/7/2012 11:30:46 PM I tell you EG x3. If you have the funds, straight bet them to reach the same payout if you were to hit all of them. Fok you would be killin it. Betting that much, you'll get the rush.
The first parlay I hit many years ago was 10 bucks...... 6 team baseball runline parlay. Paid out $1560. I was a 5 team, 6 team betting machine. Runlines, also. I don't know how many times I lost just because the team didnt win by 2.
Anyways, I know you know your garbage. It's hard enough to hit em straight, and your killin it. stack them chips |
