#8451 Posted: 5/4/2012 11:08:17 PM Hey Pliss why you tripping man. I'm not gloating, in fact I went 1-3 tonight on bets. System play hit, and my other 3 didn't. Got sucked out on the Boston total cuz I had the under also, that's why I asked you about the line you posted. |

I sent a friend request then tried to PM but you only accept messages from friends. I got some good ideas to discuss with you if you're interested. There's a lot of potential here.

#8457 Posted: 5/4/2012 11:53:19 PM Czech-You must have overlooked the post I made a few days ago about where to find line moves here on Covers. I will post again. Click on a sport tab at the top of this page. Scroll down and click on "scoreboard" find the game you need and click on "line moves" there you will find offshore line moves as well as a few Vegas line moves to follow the odds. Bama is correct you need to follow the actual money and not people on Covers to get an actual accounting but Covers does provide this info. The sites Bama mentioned will give you more Vegas odds probably but Covers will give you the best of both worlds. |

#8459 Posted: 5/5/2012 12:16:45 AM I got Bos under at 173.5 and thought it was there all day. Didn't recall ever seeing it at 174.5 so was just asking.
Anyways tonight sucked for me since once again I fired away on everything instead of just sticking to the Bulls under. Still shoulda been 2-2 though, that was pretty whack how the Boston score ended, and super-whack how the Chicago game ended.
I thought Chicago was winning and I was watching Boston OT for some reason and I flipped to Chi and they were about to lose. My friend said Phi went on a sick run to suckout.
All I know is I saw Thib put Noah back in after he rapaged his ankle, and the guy could barely walk out there and they lost part of their lead and they finally pulled Noah out again. That was a bad call IMO to even try putting him out there. Did anyone see that his ankle went like 90 degrees when he went down.

#8460 Posted: 5/5/2012 12:18:36 AM Hey smoothD yeah I've always checked all of that on Covers. I look at all the line moves from the books but I think bama was referring to the rule 2 part concerning the busters. Gotta know who the betting public is on vs just the Covers consensus busters. |

#8461 Posted: 5/5/2012 12:24:28 AM Hey Pliss,
I see where you posted 174.5 earlier. All good man that turned out to be an awesome price for you lol, wish I'd gotten that line. I'd be 2-2 tonight had I gotten that price.

#8467 Posted: 5/5/2012 1:36:53 AM Lmao!!!!!
Wow, look at all the money I missed on my parlays since I started posting a few of em. Every single one of em I lost just one game. Including the last 6 teamer. Seattle blew it. 20$ for 1000$. And then the one before that. 5 GRAND on Arizona by half a run. I'm so fuckin dumb. If I just bet each of em heads up I'd be Rollin in doe |

FYI my man those numbers are from the public. I'm not talking about the consensus. I'm talking about the money that the public bets. That info is on Covers where I demonstrated. I think you're confusing the consensus with what I'm referring to. Check it out and you will see what I'm talking about. |

#8469 Posted: 5/5/2012 1:52:03 AM Hey for anyone interested, I was just reading my first post from 319, a little over a week ago, where I kind of thought out loud and laid out my general system for you guys.
Been a wild ride since then, and I'm down for the week in $. I did well in hockey, qualified system plays are currently at 9/6 and have hit last 5 in a row, but the other NBA picks I've bet have not done well.
I made quite a few mistakes in the last week. Anyone reading these posts can surely attest to that. But I wanted to get feedback because I'm trying to accomplish something here, and have a sounding board, and have others besides myself judge the ideas and results for themselves, to help me figure out what I've got here.
I think the results have been good actually for the system. It got off to a really rough start during game 1 of the playoffs, and has recovered in short order, going 5-0 in the last couple days.
Guys, I'm sure everyone realizes that any system producing 60%+ can get you a lot of money quickly if you do things the right way. I'm relatively new to sports waging and got off to a tough start due to learning from a particular friend, who is very smart but also a degenerate gambler. I got started betting every game, doing parlays and teasers and always found a way to make things hard on myself.
Most people probably come to this thread to have fun and whatever but I want to take what I'm putting together here and bring my book down with it. Bama gave me some good insight earlier tonight. I've actually been lazy about how I acquire my data. I've been undiscliplined in how I bet. That's fine if we're all busters here but I want to make some serious money. Let's do this thing.
I'm gonna start a thread I think just to focus on my system. I still want to be a part of this thread but if anyone is curious about what's going on with my system and it's performance visit my thread, since I'm going to keep cluttering this one with my ramblings. I didn't come here to take over this thread with post after post, and sorry if I've done that.
Okay, let's make some money together. |

Of course then i had a uber sweater on with OT along with everyone else. |

Lakers were hangin most of the way and got to within 4 pts in the 3rd. I left after 3rd qtr to play poker and caught end of game at mirage. They didn't cover, but i believe it was the right play and would play it again the same. |

#8475 Posted: 5/5/2012 11:11:11 AM I just discovered another feature on Covers that concerns line movements. If you follow the instructions I gave earlier and click on "Matchups" once you're on the page look to your right and there will be a graph that says "line movement" Scroll over the spot on the graph and it will give you the percentage of the public that is betting each side. Another useful tool for those interested in that intelligence. |
