These are the only bets in any sport I'm even semi-consistent with.
My brother got me hooked on them, i use to make fun of him until they started cashing for me. |

The total was at 3 in the top of the 4th, and then goes on to lose by 0.5..Go figure.

Not really.
I've been having a really rough year with these bets, but every one that I lost, I still had a chance to win the bet, even after the over hit on the game total. |

#11 Posted: 4/13/2012 7:18:05 PM for example if ill take an under h/r/e in a kershaw v lincecum matchup they can each give up like 8-10 hits but final could be 3-1 or so
always curious strategy re: h/r/e bets im more of a fan of no run in the first |

True, but you could bet on the same game and this could happen.
Dogers: 10 hits, 6 runs
Giants: 5 hits 2 runs
The game would go over but the H/R/E wouldnt

- Two good pitchers, usually atleast one Ace
- solid bullpens
- Cold weather stadiums (in April and May)
- National League (no dh)
- Will never go under 23.5 unless there are two aces on the mound, or 1 ace vs a terrible lineup (i.e Kershaw vs the Pirates.)
These bets are definitely more profitable in April and early May (not so much this year with the weird Winter)
This is the first year out of like 5 that I have really struggled with them. I still play them from time to time but don't post them because I try to only post if I feel my plays are beneficial, which they haven't been this year other than series bets. |
