I, too, do not understand why people come into a thread to bash someone who posts his picks. It seems to me the idea is to share plays, opinions, insights in an effort to get better at making winning bets.

No one holds a gun to anyones head and forces them to tail a poster's plays. You do that at your own peril. Be a grownup. If the man gives you a good idea or a winning play, thank him and be respectful. If you don't like his ideas or pix, just disregard them. Does it really make you feel better to disparage someone or call them names in an anonymous forum? If you're serious about betting and trying to win, your time would be better spent figuring out how to make your own winning plays.

Are they "Hinting to who is going to win?"

I would honestly say they are expecting a one run ball game  -  the total is below 8, too.

I think it was more of a lucky guess and 165yds saying that they were hinting the home team would win...

I would not base the Indians RL succeeding today based on 165yds assumption yesterday on the Royals RL @ home.

The Indians are a small fav at some books and the RL is +190 which is standard for 98% of games.  We saw yesterday a RL that was 20 cents cheaper than it should've been.  There was nothing lucky about KC winning by 2 or more runs.  That KC RL was very very rare.

Long story short, we're all here for the same reason and that's to make money.  Not sure what possesses people to complain and bash, but what purpose does it serve?

Every play everyday for those years in MLB.  I don't blame others for not believing me, you had to have been around no later than 2008 to remember those seasons.  Someone new like Papa couldn't have known this unless he was here checking out the threads.

For what it's worth, 165 yds was absolutely spectacular two seasons back and equally as bad the last season. Or was it a good 2009 and atrocious 2010?

Muggsy I lost about 50 units last year at the half way point and stopped posting.  2008-09 I won over 400 units going 2 units a play.

Cincy +160

As a Yanks fan who watches them regularly this team slumping.  I understand it's C.C. but no way should the line be this high.

Bucs +165

Everyday we see 5 Tiger sucks threads.  This is an average team laying ridiculous prices seemingly everyday.  Scherzer may throw a complete game shutout or be out by the 4th inning.  There's no consistency with him or this team in general.  If Cabrera doesn't hit this team doesn't score runs, lineup has tons of holes in it.  At +165 it's worth a play.

TB -1.5 +150

Seems like a sucker bet to take the Braves at this price.  Their lineup is a bunch of paper tigers.  They'll be hard pressed to score runs today against an elite pitcher on the road.

Probably going to take KC later today.  Zona shouldn't be laying road chalk to anyone anywhere.

GL guys.

Oh yeah. I was objecting to the guys who are saying you are clueless. Obviously, I had no idea how badly you did last year since I quickly lost interest - and the year before that was, indeed, amazing. A nice aberration which 99% of people of here won't ever achieve if they tried 40 years straight.
