#1 Posted: 4/4/2012 4:26:55 PM Has anyone seen or heard of Malinsky's whereabouts? He was hosting the show, Vegas Sports Day, on Monday then today he's gone, not on the site at all! The reason I ask is that when it comes to baseball he was by far the best and most profitable capper on here, I would have liked to see what some of his plays were. Dude is very knowledgeable, and I dont know why he left. (Althought I did notice Nick Parson, Scott Spreiter, Bryan Leonard, Tony George, Stephen Nover all ended up over on pregame), maybe that is where Malinsky is headed???? |

#4 Posted: 4/5/2012 6:28:07 PM It's amazing. Looks like for whatever reason Spreiter, Nover, and now him all left but they dont clear up whey they left. I suppose over money. |

#5 Posted: 4/5/2012 10:39:30 PM Dave Malinisky actually hangs in Kelowna during the summer, does a 10 minute spot on a radio show up here every sunday, the majority of those "experts" sell their bullshit on a number of different sites. There's a google or bing bar on the top of your screen for a reason.

#6 Posted: 4/6/2012 12:39:40 AM that name brings back great memories..
I remember listening to him on KDWN on sunday nights a long long time ago..
(even though I was in California I could pick it up )
It was great during college football when they would break down every game.

#7 Posted: 4/6/2012 6:01:09 PM I would guess if he left for good they'd have taken his Covers Experts page down.
Still poorly handled not to have some kind of announcement, "I'm taking a break to be fresh for football"--or whatever. |

#8 Posted: 4/6/2012 11:00:06 PM Dave is a great capper. Listened to him on Vegas Sportsday, and when he did a spot on Gabriel Morency's show on Friday nights.

#9 Posted: 4/6/2012 11:49:44 PM Covers shipped out a few guys this year (reasons still completely unknown) : Nick Parsons, Scott Rickenback, Scott Spreiter, Stephen Nover, and now Malinksky. Cut their roster by 5 in 2012l, I guess the recession is finally being felt by covers.com - it's just a shame they have to part ways with a great like Malinsky when there is utter dogshit like David Chan, Ben Burns and Guillermo Padilla Sanchez on here. |

#16 Posted: 12/30/2012 8:56:16 PM I eavesdropped his dinner conversation this evening while waiting in the "To Go" line at Grimaldi's at Boca Park in Vegas. Turns out he's retired from Covers and what he referred to as a "Panamanian Sportsbook." I knew exactly who he was but chose to play dumb and say "Oh you're Mark Lawrence right?" |
