#1 Posted: 1/11/2011 5:19:57 PM Since there has been so much hate by followers towards the cappers on here, I thought it'd be fitting to show some cappers a little love. Who do you guys think are the best NBA cappers so far this year? I've been following the NBA for 25+ years (I'm an NBA photographer and no, it isn't against contract to bet on games, only on games that I am working at) and have capped my own games for about 6 years. After ending up about .500 after every season with small profits I decided that the time and effort spent into capping games weren't in my best interest. So instead, I tail some of these guys who are much better than me at this and they have been exceptional. I just can't stand people who tail someone, lose, than complain like 5 year olds. These guys aren't getting paid to give you picks, they're doing it out of generosity, so you follow at your own risk. If you don't like it, cap your own games. So here are some of mine:
Tinoker - is there anyone else on here who has profited 300+ units so far this year? Keep up the good work
Sharpstick - say what you want about "the call", but his record speaks for itself.
Jlb442 - he was a very solid capper, but geez I don't think I've ever seen anyone get more offended over negative criticism.
Animax - . Nuff said
Who are some of your favorite cappers? |

#8 Posted: 1/11/2011 5:31:13 PM There isn't necessarily the best but I do enjoy MrBators writeups. He sees trends or things that not many people pay attention to. Unfortunately he doesn't post threads much either he's busy or if he's wrong there is a bunch of haters ready to jump into his thread.

#9 Posted: 1/11/2011 5:31:32 PM There are no good cappers here if we want to be honest?? THe "best cappers" are about at 55% and that's just not good enough.. I've seen them pick some really dumb ones like Dirkless Mavs beating Orlando! LOL!! I actually think they flip coins and don't bey with logic

#10 Posted: 1/11/2011 5:32:49 PM EMCHO has been $$. ManassaMauler is money. SportsFreak69 is money...
CRAZY MILK MAN
ORANGE44
PHAT
MAKAVELI
just a few that come to mind.
Some rookies pop up who are pretty good as well.
Really, you just have to handicap your own game with maybe a little nudge in the right direction with people who are more knowledgable regarding specific teams (often-times local).
I've been sucking behind the past week, but was red hot the week before, it comes in cycles |

I modify this statement. The only NBA cappers I take seriously are Tweets and Kapono

#12 Posted: 1/11/2011 5:48:14 PM My covers career has started well. 3 out of 4 winning winning weeks and I gamble for a living so while I'm new to covers, I'm a long time veteran in gambling terms... I like to think I know what I'm doing. But I agree, there are only a handful of guys u can trust and have their head in it every night. |
