#26 Posted: 10/10/2012 7:03:45 PM Alright let's get back on track for tonight... Updated posted record 5-1.
Balt vs. Yanks: *Under 8.5* Tonight we have two pitchers going that are great against the opposing team. Miguel Gonzalez is 2-0 with a 2.63 in his career against the Yankees and both those games went under the total. Texiera, cano, swisher, and granderson are combined 0 for 21 against Gonzalez while the four of them were struck out in 12 of those 21 at bats against Gonzalez combined... Hideki Kuroda is 1-1 with a 2.94 ERA career against Baltimore with both games going under the total. The 3 orioles who have seen Kuroda the most are Nate McLouth, Mark Reynolds, and JJ Hardy. McLouth is 2 for 16 against Kuroda, Hardy is 5 for 26 with 10 strike outs against Kuroda, and Hardy is 1 for 10 against Kuroda. Here are a few additional stats that lean under: The under is 17-7 when Baltimore is a dog of +150 to +175. The under us 49-31 when Baltimore is on the road. The under is 62-51 when Baltimore faces righties. The under us 55-40 when Baltimore faces a team with a winning record. The under is 18-9 when the yanks are a home favorite of 150 to 175. The under is 58-39 when the yanks face a right handed starter. The under is 36-28 after a Yankee loss.
This is a strong play for me. Good luck to all and lets go under!!! |

#27 Posted: 10/10/2012 7:06:51 PM Forgot to mention its going to be cold tonight in New York (around 55) which will help the fly balls stay in the ballpark. |

#29 Posted: 10/10/2012 7:22:02 PM Thanks bev. Good hits on the giants and cards. I made myself look like a fool going against carpenter in the playoffs. But oh well I learned my lesson. Had the over on the first game though. Good luck with the O's. I was leaning on taking them as well but I decided to just go with the under for more. Good luck with your plays!

#34 Posted: 10/10/2012 11:46:32 PM Easiest under ever in the Baltimore Yankee game. Never seen so many ground ball outs in one game. Hopefully Detroit holds on here and wins this game.

#35 Posted: 10/11/2012 1:14:29 AM Tough loss with Detroit. Dunno why they didn't pull Valverde after Oakland tied the game. Same with Baltimore. I didn't have them but I never woulda taken out O'dea. He pitches well against the yanks, and Johnson blew it against the yanks in game one. They hit Johnson pretty hard. Also, I know Matusz has been good this year outta the pen, but he has a history of getting smoked by the yanks who crush lefties especially Matusz. I will never understand these coaches. Oh well.
