But the Chargers had Tolbert when they barely survived them at home. Everybody trying to convince themselves SD is the right play tonight just make me laugh. Horrible play and you know it. |

#27 Posted: 10/31/2011 12:00:52 PM GOOD TO SEE WE'RE ON THE SAME SIDE. MY WRITE UP WAS ALMOST SIMILAR. BASICALLY THIS GAME IS GOING TO GET OUT OF HAND, IF, MISTAKES ARE MINIMAL AND THERE IS NO CAPITALIZATION OFF OF THEM. AT THE END OF THE DAY THAT'S WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO. MISTAKES ARE BOUND TO HAPPEN BUT ITS ALL ABOUT HOW THEY ARE HANDLED. COME BACK NEXT PLAY AND MAKE UP OR HOLD THEM TO A FG. LITTLE THINGS LIKE THAT IS WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE! |

This is the first time since week one has Rivers had the ability to practice with his 3 top receiving targets (Gates, Jackson, Floyd) more than twice in a week at full speed.
Granted the Chiefs have gotten things fixed, but aside from the 28-0 score they put on the raiders, Cassell still played as if he is Matt Cassell.
a 75% RIvers is better than any qb in the AFC west conference at 100%....
OMG!!! YOU'RE ABSOLUTLELY RIGHT!!! I FORGOT SO MUCH ABOUT THIS AND YES TO ALL YOU KC BACKERS THIS REALLY DOES MAKE A HELL OF A DIFFERENCE IF YOU ARE THINKING IT DOESN'T. WITH GATES IN THERE, THE DEFENSE CAN EASILY BE CONFUSED AND THATS ALL IT TAKES TO MOVE THE CHAINS. THE ONLY WAY I CAN SEE THIS GAME BEING CLOSE, IS IF KC KEEPS UP WITH THE OFFENSE AND THE GAME IS DECIDED BY A FG, IN WHICH CASE, IT'LL GO TO THE CHARGERS. THANKS FOR BRINGING THAT UP AND MAKING ME FEEL EVEN MORE CONFIDENT ABOUT THE CHARGERS!

#29 Posted: 10/31/2011 12:07:09 PM Philip Rivers looked like Tebow minus the running ability last week. You guys should actually watch the games. |

The sharps hammered the home team and looked what happened. Enjoy the game tomorrow.
Any game is winnable for any team on any given day. Just look at the unthinkable Balt-Jack result last Mon and NO-SL result just yesterday. Your point on the -14 @ SD vs the -3 @ KC and therefor questioning the change of venue being worth -11 is completely wrong. SD was favored by -14 but they ONLY WON BY 3. Now they are @ KC ONLY FAVORED BY 3. In my opinion, having won at home by only 3, they shouldn't even be favored in the same match up on the road. However, we both know lines are created with public perception in mind. The public believes that SD is a good team, and that KC is a bad team (at least right now). The reality is that SD is underachieving rather consistently this season. Also, Rivers is not the same guy with all his INT's. Overall, they are not the great team the public perceives as they are playing this season. KC started out very poorly but they are doing much better and playing with confidence now. SD could win this game on MN, but with the way things are going now, so could KC. The line on this game and the line on the last meeting are completely irrelevant. As I recall, SD's visit to KC last year didn't go as planned for SD. SD was favored and KC jumped on them right out of the gate and won 21-7. It could happen again.
