#3 Posted: 3/31/2012 9:26:56 AM I have had good results at Garduno's(Palms) and at Cabo(Red Rock).Been to both more than once.Garduno's has a salsa bar for good variety, Cabo brings 3 different salsa and a hot bean dip to you with the chips. |

#4 Posted: 4/1/2012 5:18:54 PM Cabo wabo Cantina inside the Planet Hollywood has decent Tex-Mex food. Probably best on the strip.

#5 Posted: 4/2/2012 5:40:50 AM Been there, completely unimpressed.
If you are a Texan, you will not like it.
Their salsas are okay but not particularly hot.
My biggest issue as a Texan is that the Tex-Mex joints here give chips and salsa complimentary; there you have to request and pay for it. Also, they only give you a half serving of chips, stuffing the bottom with paper to make it look like a full serving.
I had a comped meal there, and still thought it cost too much, if that tells you anything. If you're a native Texan or used to Tex-Mex from Texas, you will not be impressed.

#7 Posted: 4/2/2012 12:07:12 PM It is more of a place to grab drinks at night and see a little nightlife. There is also a nightly cover charge. If you are looking for authentic on the Strip, head to Dona & Maria's by downtown, but still on LV Blvd. It has been around twenty plus years and is a good place with good prices. |

#8 Posted: 4/3/2012 4:05:18 PM Try Lindo Michoacan on East Desert Inn Road. They have pretty good food and atmosphere there. I got the Carnitas last time. And don't forget the Margaritas! |

#17 Posted: 4/15/2012 8:48:18 PM Isla in Treasure Island is the best I have had, I have been to Gonzalez Gonzalez which is a close 2nd at New York New York, and I would say diablo's and pink taco are pretty much the same place to me, I would say Isla or Gonzalez Gonzalez are top notch |
