i debated betting this game all week then decided to bet the saints -9.5, bought a full pt... anyway the only reason i bet it was PrimeTime Boys was on the Lions...hahaha

This is somewhat of a stupid question but I am curious.....

If that last play was 4th down and they just kneeled the ball.....why did the clock keep running on the change of possession?

I am happy it did so nothing stupid could ruin my bets but I thought it would have stopped the clock and given the ball to Det?

Ummm so how did the saints just run out the clock? That last kneel down was on 4th down.

I had to double check NFL.Com cuz the TV refused to put the down up there.

So wtf just happened?

Anybody able to answer this?  Did Det just say let it run?? Was it really 4th down or was it 3rd?  I missed a couple plays so I'm not sure
