#1 Posted: 5/13/2012 9:36:35 PM Last couple of days have been rough. Been getting away thinking heavy favorites would cover and didn't lay all the money on the Money Line for Philadelphia. Back to the basics..

My percentages show a high win rate vs the spread ratio and then filter in the Rangers taking the Angels again and like KC to hang around in that one. Oakland never seems to get any respect and they finished earlier while Angels are getting blasted tonight. Dan Haren has lost more units I believe than any other pitcher in the league -8.7 to be exact..and he's still demanding a high spread..
St. Louis has been undervalued all year except for this series and I have this spread in the 80's.
San Francisco with Vogelsong has a 2.03 ERA at home with limited run support. Should close much higher and like it until mid 40's.
Cleveland has been good and maybe overvalued at times including today, but still is a good buy laying only 20 on the road against a terrible Minnesota team. Gomez last two outing horrendous but they still open him as a favorite..

Im gunshy of laying that kinda juice with SF right now, but @AT&T is always be a tight game cant deny that number with KC. +190ish is always worth a small sprinkle in a baseball game. round ball, round sticks.

I agree that Texas hits Lefties well but Feldman hasn't been too special overall and Chen doesn't look like anything special, however it's more of a hangover play. I'll take a spot chance with KC here.

Thoughts are I am in on a horrendous price, but hoping to see some buyback as Vogelsong has been strong at home but lineup that they are putting out there is not optimal. Strong push on rookie pitcher who produced in 1st outing. I can see an overreaction to the lefty who pitched 7 strong. I still like the Giants at this price as I still have them valued at 139/129. |
