Seahawks have a good RB and defensive secondary, but not sure about their offense with Flynn @ QB..   I think making the playoffs is possible, and (maybe) winning one playoff home game is about the best that they could do.

BTW they are 50-1 @ 5D

All fair points..................Seattle does have a top 10 D that got better as the year went on, & a solid tho young OL (if they can stay healthy) that added Winslow @ TE to go with Miller.
But yeah, QB is a ? right now along with Sydney Rice & the signing of Chris Clemons. They're likely another year away from serious SB contention but I like the pieces they're putting together.

Still.......if I can 50/1 or better in August I'll throw a few bills on them.

betting on the bears, seahawks, or bills to win the superbowl just seems like way too big of a stretch for me. Bears are 3rd best team in their division. Bills are worst team in their division if not 3rd worst. Seahawks division is crap so that play kind of makes a little sense since they could end up with another home playoff game and shock someone if the 49ers stumble somehow. I just don't see any of those teams making a run. I think we see a lot of the usual suspects fighting it out again next year in the playoffs. Those dominant QB's just always seem to be there

NFC is STACKKKKKKKED.

- Packers

- 49ers

- Eagles

- Giants

- Saints

- Lions

All of those teams are better than the Bears. Then throw in Pats, Steelers, Ravens and possibly Broncos..and 30/1 is about right

Bills are better than the Fins and Jets.

And I'm a Fins fan

The past 10 years, the quarterback is the critical position to win the super bowl.

AFC: Patriots, Ravens and Steelers.

NFC: Packers, Giants and Saints.

One of these 6 teams will win the super bowl. Maybe add the Broncos.

There is one reason why I can't bet on the Bears.  LOVIE FREAKIN' SMITH.  The Guy SUCKS.  Shows no emotion.  Does not care.  The Bears will not win the Super Bowl this year.  No Way No How.  The Defense is a year older.  Urlacher started losing steps 3 seasons ago.  The Bears are toast and won't make the playoffs.  This will be Lovie Smith's Last year as head coach in Chicago.  MARK IT DOWN.  Oh and If Cutler were to get injured again you have a loser in Jason Campbell to fill in.  I'd Rather Place money in a toilet and flush it down the drain than place it on this Bears team to win or even appear in a Super Bowl.

Lions = 8-8 at best

Dumbest player in the NFL = Suh
Most overrated qb = Stafford = Throw it up to CJ every play
Below Average Defense = Not Good
Lets see how a tougher schedule works out for them this year.

This has to be the dumbest post.  Typical Bears fan pessimism.
Lovie Smith isn't the reason you moron.  If it weren't for Lovie, the defense wouldn't be so violent and takeaway-happy.  I like the emotional coach, but if his players are playing their fools off, it doesn't matter.

And the worst part of your post is how you said Campbell is a loser. Are you kidding me? I'll bet any Raider fan would beg to have him back over Palmer.  I sure as hell would start Campbell over at least 10 starters in the NFL.

You sir, are an idiot.

Jason Campbell is not a loser QB, hes 5 stars up from what they had to work with last year behind cutler.

Id rather have Palmer over Campbell though. lol. Carson is alot better than people think. He was sick of Cincy, he will be a top tier QB this year watch it happen captain

+3000 is a steal. For years I have watched ESPN slam the Bears for nearly every loss they had, and the same goes with most of my friends who track the NFL. I would much rather have the Bears be underrated then overrated. However, nearly everybody thinks their team's odds are unfair at this time of year, for even the Colts are undefeated as of now. Nevertheless, +3000 are great odds considering what the Bears have done to their offense.

the bears have an outside shot but as someone above said its going to be one of the usual playoff teams that win it (49ers, pats, saints, packers, etc.)

parity is such an illusion in the nfl now.

personally i think you can feel comfortable betting the 49ers to win it all @ 11/1 and ravens @18/1 (pinnacle).  i would have no problem putting my hard earned money on the harbaugh's. those guys friggin know their garbage, excellent coaches, solid squads.

one fumble bounces differently in sf/nyg game and evans makes that catch the ravens /49ers would have been playing last year.   11/1 and 18/1 are a steal right now.  Come back to this thread in january and the 49ers will be 6-7/1 and ravens will be closer to 10/1.

No offense sir/maam but you must be one of those idiot fans who doesn't support their team unless they are winning. I bet when your Bears where 7-3 last year, you weren't calling for Mr. Lovie Smith's job. I guess you believe that being overly critical will turn negative into positive, then you'll jump back on your team's wagon. You remind me of the ignorant fools here in BALTIMORE. I really hope the bears would come out of the NFC (Especially @ 30/1). I'm not even a Bears fan but they are physical enough to beat the Packers and with their off season moves, they can SCORE!! 2 big targets outside (Marshall, Jeffrey), speed in the slots and a very good running game. Do me a favor...Remove your Bears logo and cheer for the Cubs! Have a great day.

Green Bay wins the division. Green Bay may be the best team in football.
But anything can happen in the playoffs.
Detroit never gets in last year without  the Chicago injuries.
Chicago gets Wild Card.
All bets off after that.
