Hawks vs. Knicks OVER 49 1st Quarter (1.1 to win 1)
Generally the Knicks games start out on the faster side of things...Coming off a tough loss last night against the lowly Sixers, I figure Carmelo and the boys will want to start off quick tonight. Hawks might have a little bit of fatigue after the 2OT game against the Celtics the other night, which should make their defense a little suspect.

looks like the lakers r finally realizing they r much better off with kobe taking between 10-20 shots per game...gonna be interesting to watch down the stretch

The way I look at it...I was 3-0 capping the games. If a game takes 10 extra minutes to hit the over, then clearly the line was set too high and the UNDER was the correct play. Nothing you can do about 2OT.
As far as the Lakers game goes...this is the second straight game Kobe has been the "point guard". 14 assists both games...10 and 12 shots respectively...and they've beat the Jazz by 18 and the Thunder by 10.
All I've been hearing all year is that D'Antoni is a terrible coach and he should be fired and all that jazz...wrong. Basketball these days has VERY little to do with coaching, and mostly is determined by the players and when/if they decide to show up. NBA coaches are responsible for substituting at the correct times, taking timeouts at the correct times, and motivation. The Lakers didn't suck at defense because their coach primarily preaches offense...they sucked at defense because they don't match up well with a lot of teams!
Kobe just had to realize that he can't be the primary offensive option EVERY time down the court. He has the ability to be a good passer...he has just never embraced it. Take 15 shots a game, get to the line 10 times per game...put up your 20-24 points, get 6-8 assists and 6-8 rebounds...and the Lakers will be a force at the end of the year.

Hey CM - I just asked that idiot legend why he was not on the right side of the "fixes" in Boston and LA. LOL, those idiots that cry Fix eaxh time they lose should realize that winning capper has to be on the right side of the play no matter how strange it is percepted publicly. How come you, and Mavin, and Phixer, and Meraby all won on under Lakers, Lakers, Boston and you and Mavin did not cry out fix when OT took away your unders in Boston.
Those idiots that cry fix each time they lose and say they were sharp each time they win by a half a point drive me nuts. Props to you and the other 3 I mentioned. Great night so far

After last night's tough loss against this team...I like the Clippers to come out to a very hot start against the Blazers at home. I'm not sure about the full game...but I like the early line.

Third meeting usually evens out the first two meetings...so I figure this one should end up between 195-200 or so...especially with the fatigue hurting the defense. Prediction: Clippers 103 Blazers 93
