Got the Total at 47.5 (UNDER)
I happen to like this play....
but I really think they nailed it dead on.... I don't see the total going over 51, which is where I assumed it would be at, then I would've taken the under definitley.... but I still like Under 47.5
I see this game as having enough yards to go around, but both teams having trouble in the red zone....
I don't see why 2 of the best defenses in the league doesn't warrent more UNDER consideration....
I love the OVER in the field goal department.... but I don't think any team makes it above 30 points.... Tucker espcially has a 1.5 point prop
I know it's in a dome, but the red zone is the red zone, and these 2 defenses know how to tackle very well....
Good Luck with your play!

#209 Posted: 2/2/2013 12:53:20 AM I have ran the Madden 2013 Simulator for 7 games, 15 minute quarters. Cpu vs. Cpu. I had to run it with san fran @ home for the first 3. Then @ baltimore for the next 4. The simulator would not allow me to have the teams play in New Orleans. The results are as followed.
Gm#1 Balt @ San Fran 13 - 45 San Fran
Gm#2 Balt @ San Fran 19 - 48 San Fran
Gm#3 Balt @ San Fran 19 - 50
Gm#4 San Fran @ Balt 20 - 24 Baltimore
Gm#5 San Fran @ Balt 11 - 12 Baltimore
Gm#6 San Fran @ Balt 50 - 10 San Fran
Gm#7 San Fran @ Balt 24 - 33 Baltimore
Each Sim Took 2.5 hours to complete. |

#210 Posted: 2/2/2013 3:05:32 AM cool stuff man .. i was feelin it up until the 50 - 10 score .. lol
on the o/u talk .. i would never take the under here .. feelin like that would be the dumbest move ever .. forget anything anyone says outside of it could easily be balanced scoring for both teams here , thus the over has great chance .. and it could be the dreaded run up / blow out .. lol gotta say it right .. horford ? $2200 ? on an under , in an indoor microwave new olleaaaaaaans ? lol .. ooh my i give ya 2 reasons why not to take the under here , balanced scoring 24 - 24 it has to tip over .. and a possible run up which is not uncommon .. esp since there are more ways pts gt put up than ways they dont .. yes that is too simple sounding to even be mentioned right .. not really ..
i wanted to add that if a team has to play from behind then they have to scrap the ground and pound burn the clock strat .. like i was saying it is up to the coaches more with their gameplan in earlier post .. say 2 int get returned for tds , thats 14 pts right there .. ouch . haha |

Both of these teams start very slow.... I'm expecting a low scoring first half and they'll probably open it up second half..... Sharps are on the under so in no way is that a dumb move....
Last years bowl was in the u der with game breakers on each team.....

#218 Posted: 2/2/2013 1:48:26 PM breaka bookie , is a dumb move to me from what i see .. this game may be all about ratings is one angle .. entertaining .. refs let the callbacks go .. balanced scoring from both teams hitting around their average plus the blowout possibility is 2 reasons to leave the total alone .. or take the over or nothing ..
last time i checked 25 + 26 = 51 pts .. balanced scoring <> teams hitting around their aps aps = average points scored .. lets just make s up as we go .. lol appg = average pts per game .. so if they hit around that it goes over .. but we have to throw on top of it all that they are indoors and it is at night .. nighttime = body is more attuned to be in rhythm is my take .. to flow , big plays in all aspects in the scoring angles .. do i have to spell everything out .. we wont leave out what teams give up per game but in this game i feel it is more about scoring .. like i said it is all up to the coaches with the gameplans and if a team falls behind and has to scrap the conservative plan .. the blowout scenario ? neither of these teams will score less that 17 pts .. we could even stretch it to no less than 20 pts and feel pretty good about it i promise ..
last years sb ? this is not gmen vs pats .. not even close .. let me add that the 2 teams in this years sb should have been there last year .. now here they are this year .. if that is not an INDICATOR THAT THIS GAME IS PRETTY EVEN ALL THE WAY AROUND NOTHING IS . how much $$ could/would vegas make if they made the line even ? when you can tackle those kind of what ifs ? then you have arrived .. we are in a sports forum right .. talking about sports . i thought i was .. if no fav is declared there is no illusion created as to who is the so called better team ................ and who and is more likely to win .. like a price tag on a car window ? a price tag on anything .. you see it and immediately your form opinions about the product .. sf and balt are simply products .. this being a one game all or nothing neutral site game indoors and all .. kinda like a deodarant called sexythang ? or not . would you buy sexythang or sure ? if you would buy the sure then you are more likely to like sf .. if you would buy the sexy pick ... yeah ravens are the sexy pick not unlike that sexythang deod that has yet to hit the shelves .. haha im just rambling .. but dont take it lightly ..
i take back what i said saying the better team never wins in the playoffs .. that it is simply more situational .. that is not true but again it is always more situational than anything nowadays ..
with PARITY , SALARY CAP , PLAYERS AND COACHES BEING SHUFFLED AROUND ALL THROUGHOUT THE LEAUGE .. teams are never allowed to form a true dynasty anymore in the nfl .. almost as bad as college sports with graduatuon and going to the pros ? is sad yes .. which makes it harder to win ats .. if this game goes under 47.5 ? ooh my .. i would be sooooooooooooo shocked .. you know what ? i knwo that there are people that actually use the past as a measuring stick as to what will occur in the future .. you looked and saw the ravens won 16 - 6 over sf last year and that just set it all in motion right .. ? errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr LOL |

#220 Posted: 2/2/2013 2:30:01 PM Baltimore played very well verse the classic pocket quarterbacks in Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. However, the Raven did struggle versus the two mobile quarterbacks they faced this year. Losing to Michael Vick and Robert Griffin. They struggled when those quarterbacks made plays outside of the pocket, whether passing or running. Baltimore's kink in the armor has been their run defense. The Ravens have given up 128.3 rushing yards a game in the last 3 . The 49ers have racked up an eye-popping 246 rushing yards per game in their two playoff games. It starts with the offensive line. They have been dominant at the point of attack. Baltimore will struggle with Kaepernick's speed and the pistol shotgun formation which features the run-option that Kaepernick orchestrates with uncanny efficiency. Frank Gore, who got plenty of rest during the regular season; is now getting workhorse like duties in the playoffs and has been very effective. LaMichael James adds a nice complement of a change of pace back. Both running backs have been the beneficiary of kaepernick's great decision making in the run-option offense and the presence Kaepernick in keeping defenders home and honest. I believe the running game will be so effective that it will open up the pass. Colin Kaepernick's speed and elusiveness outside of the pocket and his ability to make very accurate throws on the run will prove to be too difficult for the Ravens defense to stop. Crabtree and Davis will be a handful for the Ravens in 1 on 1 coverage. And they will not able to sacrifice attention from the run offense in order to double team them.
San Francisco has the best defense Baltimore has faced in a long time. They have the best book-ends in the NFL with Smith & Smith. They have the most athletic linebackers in the NFL and a strong secondary. San Francisco D hits hard and plays physical. Flacco has been on fire with 8 touchdowns and no interceptions in the playoffs . I expect him to have a decent game, I do not believe he will be able to dominate it. Rice is very talented as well and will be able to make plays... But he's going against a very stingy run defense, strong defensive line and fast ,athletic, hard hitting linebackers in Patrick Willis and Navorro Bowman. Safety Donte Whitner is also a presence against the run and in pass coverage.
Kicker David Akers for the 49ers is my only concern. If he goes 1 for 3 in field goal attempts, I would not be surprised. Which could keep San Francisco from pulling away in this game and coasting to a victory .
San Francisco 49ers 24-21
49ers money line -150

#222 Posted: 2/2/2013 2:37:01 PM i guess i cant leave this out >> the sure deod is actually $4.50 while the sexythang deod is $3.00 ... my Sexy Wifey just said she would buy the $3.00 deod .. i asked her if the names had anything to do with her choice and she said yes its a cheaper price and a more attractive name ..
so then i asked what if we just won the lottery and had millions which deod would she buy of the 2 ? reply was if we just won the lottrey she would not buy either one.. she would get derek jeter cologne ? lol really though ? she said she would buy the more expensive one if we won the lottery .. reason why was because $$ was not an object .. and she thinks the more expensive one would be better .. so what about the sexy name ? the more alluring one ? how does the size of someones wallet make them scrap the more alluring sexy product ? these are the q's ...
for those lost ? a team name accompanied by the spread attached is the same as a price tag .. in reality ? it is an illusion more than not in c-ship games played at neutral sites .. for all those that truly know this and apply this congrats .. for those that dont ? GET YOU SOME SEXY DEOD ! |
