Bbbbbut, what does that say about your 'free market?' Yet, suddenly Obamacare is going to 'drive' the free market principles out of sorts on health care.

Good stance. Your right wing principles betray you, young SteveShaneWalker.

i never said we were currently, err previously, operating in a free market, i dont know when all of obamacare goes into effect because he needed to delay its implementation while collecting taxes on it for it to be solvent the first 10 years after passage.

theres a reason why many states dont have many choices for health insurance policies, and it has to do with govt interference in the marketplace.

and lets recap, you asked for facts, i provided facts, and then you turned to spin and deflection.  i wonder where ive seen that before, oh yeah it was with your bedfellow wallstreetspinner when he got his behind handed to him in the maine thread.

You provided facts that the current market for health costs are increasing. Guess what I have been saying for years, young SteveShane Walker.

You however, said this to CD;

cd, your stance on insurance companies surely lends itself to be an argument AGAINST govt run/mandated insurance.  in the "free market" you can stop buying a product from a supplier if it becomes too expensive.  if all suppliers charge too much, a new supplier will emerge because they know they can obtain customers (similar to the downfall of woolworths).  guess what obamacare does to this marketplace.  glad to know you can be counted as someone against obamacare.

Its pretty funny that you, in one breath, blame ObamaCare for distorting the free market, yet admit in the other that the current 'free market' system is allowing prices to increase.

Some call that talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Me? I just call it being a right wing lackey.

More than once you have stated Obamacare (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) isn't government run healthcare. Let's agree that it isn't. Is there anything in the bill you like or dislike?

Can: tons I hate. As written, it's a boon for insurance companies. I'll post more on that tonight.

Bowl: no evidence to support that

If not the IRS...WHO? who will slap the hands of those that do not purchase health insurance? There will have to be jobs created that oversee the...or better yet...regulate the mandate.

no, its called obamacare is taking things from bad to worse.

and if you have been saying costs have been increasing for years, (btw what a grandoise statement since anyone with any working knowledge of health care costs knows its been going up for DECADES) when in the world would you ask me "wouldn't the inherent principles of the free market in dealing with competition drive the prices down?" are you trying to test my knowledge or trying to win a debate?  either way you lost once again.

lets recap, if someone (cd329) is against the insurance industries rising costs, they can only be against obamacare bc it will further distort the free market and force everyone to purchase a product while not allowing them to leave the marketplace if they dislike the product.  now what exactly do you have against this stance?

that is of course, unless they think obamacare will lower health care costs and thus health care premiums, assuming providers will lower rates accordingly.

O'Reilly?

So anytime a tax law changes, IRS employees increase. That must mean we are up to 134 million IRS employees. Bravo. You are spearheading the right wing duo of JinBowlslit school of illogic.

It is hard to be the king of illogic in this forum, but you are really doing well in this regard. Perhaps it is because right wingers don't really have anything except inherent illogic.

Let me summarize:

You attacked CD and made the assertion that ObamaCare would increase costs by distorting the free market principle of health care.

We currently (pre-ObamaCare) have a free market principle (you don't have the purchase).

Yet in the post above, you agree that the costs have increased every year.

If you don't understand your illogic, I guess you should be spending more time with your fellow right wingers who don't care about logic.
