Agreed NJ stick the nails in their coffin both are done. Watch out for the Flyers now that they have the goaltending to match their offensive firepower they are the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. Looking forward to that Flyers/Bruins rematch. |

#28 Posted: 4/15/2012 4:39:43 PM Oh look. Vancouver decides to go with Schneider . Hmm after i get people here telling me I don't know anything about hockey and I just look at stats blah blah blah. Maybe its you guys who are dumb? Like I said before I had a bunch of morons say I didn't know anything because I wanted Cory in for game 3, I think this will spark the team and I think he is better. So do the Canucks too at this point. |

Play tight defensive hockey and win a 2-1 type of game
the problem with that is thats not how vancouver wins games thats how the kings win games and they play that type of game they are playing right into the hands of the kings, they need to play a fast offensive game if they wanna beat the kings. look at what the sharks did to them playing like that for just one period.

Just because you said cory would start game 3 doesn't mean you're right. How about we actually wait and see if he does provide a spark to the team and plays better than luongo before we deem you as god of hockey knowledge.

I then got bashed for pretty much no reason. So since the Canucks decided to do what I thought they should do means I'm already right regardless of the outcome. This is the right move either way. |

I won't agree it was the right move - but it's the move they made and i'm sure they have there reasons. If they're not right and schneider can't get a win though it's gonna get ugly. The hypocritical media who wants luongo out when schneider tanks will instantly go into why did you take out lou mode.

#36 Posted: 4/15/2012 5:17:47 PM I never said you know nothing about hockey and I didn't say its a bad idea to start Cory. The only thing I disagreed with was your comment that he is a better goaltender based on his numbers. I think starting him is the right move. It should spark the team. |

You think Nucks can win that type of game with no D.Sedin though? I forget the exact numbers but once Carter was acquired by LA the Kings actually outscored the Nucks down the stretch. Nucks PP isn't generating anything either, in fact its hurting them and with a more open game there are more penalties. It's tough man. Who is their go to shooter now? Kesler can't score, Higgins is streaky. They really just need to fix the PP!

#38 Posted: 4/15/2012 5:33:04 PM Pens are in worse shape. They're toast. Van is about to win tonight, win the series, and the Cup. Pitt was the only team that worried me.

Well theres no way they can win the gritty 2-1 type game as they have already tried that. Nucks need to stay out of the box and stop making stupid turnovers at the point on the PP. D- men should nto be pushed up so far that one deflection equals a massive breakaway.

#43 Posted: 4/15/2012 7:42:53 PM Musical goalies is not a good thing in the playoffs.
If it is all LOU's fault is cause he can't score goals for them.
CANUCKS have to stop acting like wanna be tough guys and play some friggin hockey. Be better on Special Teams. |
