I'm not comparing Lebron to MJ.

Nobody should compare MJ to anyone. MJ is on another level.

What I was doing by making this thread was 1: make a joke about Lebron carrying Wade when the entire reason he went to Miami was to get help unlike Cleveland and 2: just show that the hate for Lebron is just beyond ridiculous. He had 30 pts in the 1st half!!! 30 pts in 24 minutes. If he didnt come out and have this legendary 45 15 5 performance the 1st since Wilt Chamberlain in the playoffs, Miami would be out and who would people be blaming even if Wade had a bad game again like he did?

Btw NBA analysts all over twitter said Lebrons 45 15 5 was better than MJ's 63 in Double OT against the C's.

Funny because NBA analysts on ESPN say otherwise.

Stephen A Smith just said MJ's 63 point performance against champion celtics was by far better than Lebron last night.  He referred to legend Larry bird stating that God was disguised as MJ today on the basketball court pretty much sums it up.

Rambis said Magic's performance in which he played all positions was his most memorable playoff memory.

Not sure which analysts you are referring to on twitter.  But I wouldn't put Bron's 45 ahead of Mj's 63.  Not close really.  But bron did ball last night.  No question about that

U think so?  I don't.  Look at the box score from jordan's 63 and tell me if he or bron had a better supporting cast.  Might surprise you.  U think bron was carrying his team last night (he was) but at least he has two other all-stars on his roster.  Jordan's 2nd best player was Orlando Woolridge.  It was MJ or bust.

Seems like scoring 45 in an away, elimination game to a great team is performing when the pressure is on, whatcha think?

The level of league wide talent today is vastly superior to when Jordan played. The Bulls might have had absolute scrubs coming off the bench, but so did every other team. A lot of NBA teams have guys coming off the bench now who are capable of putting up 20 on any given night. Saying that Lebron's Cavs had better bench players, or even better role players, is kinda moot because every team in the NBA now has better bench players or role players compared to teams from Jordan's era.

Basically, It takes a better and deeper team to win now than 20 years ago because there's way more talent in the league.

Michael Jordan is clearly the best basketball player ever, but if anybody seriously thinks Lebron wouldn't have won multiple rings if he played in the 70s, 80s, 90s, is just crazy.

He's not taking away from his performance that put them far ahead, it's the wondering of how he would of handled it if Celts had a few of those 3's drop.

Lebron has still yet to win a championship and the Heat are limping through a Celtic team that is FLAT OUT OLD. Only difference Bos plays and the Heat spend time thinking they DESERVE to win. I am hoping for Bos to win, but I doubt it.

Either way I feel that Ok City is still a stronger overall team and brought more chemistry together quicker.

Pre-season I had Ok City over Mia in the finals, but honestly am rooting for Boston......and keep Jordan with all the rings.
