WHY THE darn IS THERE SO MUCH COMPLAINING ABOUT GAMES BEING FIXED!?

Are you kidding me. There's like 6+ games a day. There's two sides for spreads, 4 sides for quarter spreads, 2 half spreads, then for each quarter/half/full time game, there's as many overs/unders. If theres 4 sides per quarter (two teams, o/u), theres 16 main possible bets a game... With 6 games or more... thats a garbage load of outcomes. And with vegas being so good at lines OBVIOUSLY THERE WILL BE A BAD BEAT!

SO STFU ABOUT IT BEING FIXED. Dont bet on it if thats the case.

I'm done my rant. I was on dallas -3.5..

anybody with a brain knows a lot of the games are fixed, that's why

it may be to keep a close score, to keep the under, the 1st half, get a lot of fouls for this guy, against this guy...

it may not be the point spread (though it may be that too....)

it's all bullsh!t.

I mean, there's no way that portland game can be fixed like people are saying.

How would the refs influence someone dunking the ball instead of dribbling it out. And then how would they influence a cold shooter on the night hitting a buzzer beater contested three.

And dont tell me "the players care  about teh spread"... tehse guys are just trying to maximize their stats. This is how they make a living after all.

It's impossible to fix every game. What Vegas does is to fix the games that receive much more bets than other games. Today the game is Mavs @ Blazers (go to http://www.freesportsbet.com/scores/nba.html  you can see the bets amount).  If the game goes way off the spread (like yesterday Clippers blowing out Wolves and Mavs blowing out Warriors) then Vegas can only take a loss. Another recent example is Hawks @ Celtics if you watched that game you would know what I'm saying.

here's the deal man...that game?  it wasn't the spread. but it d*mn well was made to keep the game close.

You want to explain how Portand gets to shoot 23 free throws, and Dallas 10?  Especially with Dirk Nowitski, who flops if someone breathes on him too hard?

Do you want to explain how Portland gets 16 free throws in the 2nd half, Dallas 4?

Do you want to tell me it wasn't because the refs were doing all they can to provide a non-blowout on ESPN?

Just annoyed as f/ck right now...first overall losing day in a while i'll get over it.

In the Hawks game the ref called 4 consecutive offensive fouls on Celtics, and two players were fouled out. In the last second Hawks were down by 2, Rondo was supposed to take foul and make free throws, but Hawks players just didn't foul him so Hawks covered the +3. I was on them in that game though.

point being...they damn well didn't care bout the spread but they DAMN WELL DID care about keeping the game interesting to KEEP UP THE RATINGS

there is NO OTHER WAY to explain that discrepancy

well done referres maybe you'll get a hot girl in Vegas after a promotioni from David Stern
